Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (or commonly abbreviated to 'RDM') is when a player is killed by another player without a valid RP reason.
For Example - Lord EMP throws a Nitro Glycerine at Soxey because he doesn't like him.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule (or commonly abbreviated to 'NLR') takes place after you die. You can not return to the district/tunnel you died in, or interact with anything from your past life (players, printers, vehicles etc.) until 3 minutes has ended. You must also forget your past life upon death.
For Example - Paramontana was killed by Gems, and returned 30 seconds later to the same district he died in, just to collect his crappy Chevrolet Blazer.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when a player gives in-character information in an out of character situation, or vice versa. This can be from the OOC chat, F1 sits etc.
For Example - Krispay asked for help in OOC because his base was being raided and he was losing his printers.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would first PM (or tp to) the player who made the F1, and ask him if it was ok to bring him to a roof for his sit. If he said yes, I would bring him to a roof and ask him what the problem was, and listen to what happened and made sure I understood. I would then ask the accused player if I could bring him, and if he said yes, I would bring him and tell him that he was being accused of RDMing, and I would ask him if he did. If he said no, I would then ask him for his side of the story, without the other player interrupting. If the stories were the same, and it turns out player y did RDM him, I would warn him for RDM and made sure he understood what he did wrong, so he did not do it again; but if the stories were completely different, and I had no way of possibly telling what actually happened, I would ask each player if they had any form of proof. If not, I would keep an eye on each player and ask them to make another F1 if they have any more problems. I would then return them to their previous postions and wish them a good day.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would start by asking player x if it was ok to bring her to a roof, and if she said yes then I would teleport her. If the F1 was fairly recent, I would teleport to the accused player immediately, to see if she was NLRing still by the time I got there, if not I would've asked her if I could take her to the sit. I would then ask player x to explain what happened, and then ask player y. Player y WAS breaking NLR, therefore I would explain the rule to her and made sure she understand. I would then warn her.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
If this was the first time the player metagamed, I would kindly ask them to stop metagaming. If they continued though, I would teleport to them and ask if I could take them to a roof, if they said yes then I would take them to a nearby roof and explain what metagaming is, and made sure they understood. I would then tell them that if they metagamed one more time, they will receive a warning.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I think I should be chosen, as I am still very helpful after resigning from admin, everyday I'm reporting users (and staff...) and trying my best to be helpful. I also have a lot of experience with being staff on the SSRP servers, as I've been playing on there for years now, and have been staff on there multiple times, and even a member of the Lead Team at one point. I know basically everything there is to know about being staff, and everything there is to know about the server itself. I am aware of all the rules and follow them, I am also friendly and helpful on the SSRP servers, and am always happy to help. It would be an honour to be staff on SSRP again, and I hope to see you soon.
