Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
A "Random Death Match" is when a player kills another player without a valid role play reason.
And example would be: Someone kills another player because they wanted to test out how powerful their weapon is.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
The "New Life Rule" is in place to prevent people from returning to their past role play life before 3 minutes is up.
An example of someone breaking this rule would be: You have just been assassinated by a hitman in the Spawn District and once you respawn you do not leave Spawn District straight away and are therefore breaking NLR.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Meta-Gaming is when a player provides In Character information such as a location of a printer via an Out of Character source, like the "OOC" chat.
An example: A player types in OOC chat "I'm selling a Spartan Laser for 30m" instead of using the /advert command.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would take both of the players into a sit and ask for both sides of the story. After which I would ask the player making the accusation if they could provide evidence such as a video or screenshots.
If evidence is provided and sufficient I would warn player y for RDM.
However if not, I would have to return both players and keep an eye on player y without warning them.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
Despite being close together in console, I would check the timing in the logs to see whether the deaths were less than 3 minutes apart to make sure they were breaking NLR.
If this was the case I'd warn player y for breaking NLR.
If not then player y did not break NLR and was falsely accused.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would go to the player and explain what meta gaming is and why they cannot do it.
However if after this explanation they go on to do it again I would warn them for Meta Gaming.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I am extremely active on the Zarp SSRP servers and believe I can help moderate servers to a good standard. I'm friendly and approachable to players in game and am willing to offer my help where and when needed. I have 1,000+ hours on Garry's mod and have been part of the Zarp community for just over a month, I am also fairly active on the forums. Past experience wise I used to be a Staff Manager on ZeusRP a year ago. I've just hit around 200 hours on the Zarp servers combined and only have 1 warning. I use shadow play whenever I am online as well, this means I virtually always have evidence to back up reports if necessary.
To summarise all I really want to do is help people have a good time by keeping minges and rule breakers at bay so I thought I may as well apply.
Thank you for reading my application, I hope you give me a chance to prove myself, cheers.
