Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random deathmatch or better known as "RDM" is when you kill someone for a invalid roleplay reason, let's say Bob decides to try his new gamma rifle on a gundealer who is minding his own business, when he kills him for no actual reason, he violated the random deathmatch rule.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life rule, just as above it has a shorter name, "NLR". If you return to a district you recently died in, before the three minute timer expire, or if there is an active raid you were in, but you died (You can still return to the district after three minutes, however, you can not partake in the raid)
Bob was raiding Ted, Bob dies but he runs back to continue with his raid, Bob violated the new life rule.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when you use any in character information to your advantage through OOC, or just use in character information through the out of character chat. Let's say Bob is getting raided, he decides to use the out of character chat to contact his buddies to come and save the day for him, Bob clearly violated the metagame rule in this scenario.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First I'd lisen to both parties stories, If player Y provides a valid roleplay reason, I'd ask player X for any evidence to support his claims. If no evidence is provided, I can't punish anyone for it. If he however provide sufficient proof, I'd warn the other party for Random Deathmatch.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
The logs shows pretty valid proof already, however, I'd still lisen to the parties in question, If player Y provides a valid reason to kill him, like being mugged by player X in another district. Then i'd let them both down and continue with my duties. HOWEVER, If there is proof of him actually breaking the rule, I'd go ahead and warn him for the new life rule.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I'd send him a PM, as a verbal warning to stop using OOC to transer IC information, if continued, he'd be issued a warning.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words)
You should choose me because I'm a very experienced member of the community, I have been here for a two years now, HOWEVER, I can't say I have been the best through these years. I'm admitting to trolling, even racked up a community ban once. However, I believe that people can change and I'm trying to prove that, I served as a moderator on deathrun back in October last year, a really good experience, However, I want to expand my contribution to the community once more, I want to be an SSRP staff member once again, last time was in late October 2014. I deeply regret my immature actions in the past and I really do hope you can forgive me. I'm thinking I would be a great addition to the staff team due to my ability to really dedicate my time into one thing. When I was a staff member back in 2014, the only thing I did for a whole week was to do F1's, yes, boring but I felt like it was my duty. Now I often see 5+ unhandled F1's and a long waiting time. Back in the days, we used to literally fight about the F1's as they came in, the wait time was about one minute.
I'm hoping I can reclaim my faded position & start helping again.
