Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule, aka NLR, is a period of time after someone's death (3 minutes) in which he cannot return to the district he died in and should forget what happened in his old life. (Unless he's a cop and PD or Bank is being raided.)
Scenario: A thief is raiding a gangster's base and succeeds, also killing the gangster. The gangster isn't allowed to go back to his base until NLR ends and is not allowed to kill or shoot the thief if he sees him in another place because it would be considered RDM.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when a player uses in-role information in OOC Chat (Out Of Character).
Scenario: (OOC) Player: COME DOWN TO SPAWN TO X'S CASINO!! ROLL 66+ GET 2X YOUR MONEY BACK!
Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match, aka RDM, is when a player kills another player for no reason at all.
Scenario: A citizen is walking around in the map, enjoying the beautiful wonders of the fountain, when suddenly a gangster passes by to pick up his paycheck, just before he shoots or kills him and escapes.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First of all I would bring them to a roof and ask for both ends of the story and if any proof exists, also considering their jobs.. If y did RDM then I would warn him and ask x if he needs anything else before ending the sit, if there is no actual proof then I would give y a verbal warning and watch his future actions. If he did RDM again, I would warn him directly.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
It's almost obvious that y broke NLR, but I'd start by checking for proof from x of y breaking NLR. I'd also ask for both sides of the story from the players. Accordingly, I would give y a verbal warning, after explaining to him what NLR is and how it works. If he does it again he would be warned.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided.
First of all I would /pm x telling him not to call for help using /OOC, but by using /advert. Then I'd wait for the raid to end, and go to or take x to a roof and explain what Metagaming is. I'll tell him that it's a verbal warning and if he does it again he will be warned.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I think I've played enough time on Zarp to be a moderator, I mean 60 hours is a lot of experience (I've also watched a relative play for some time, who was staff on the server), and I'm quite aware of ALL the rules of the server. Zarp is not like other servers, it's different, it's special, that is when there aren't rulebreaks and chaos. It would be an honour to be within the Zarp staff, and to help make the server better. I think I'm mature enough to handle F1s in the best manner and way possible, that since I know how to cooperate with others and solve issues. I am quite respectful to all the players and staff on the servers, and I hope this impression is seen by others! I also know every inch of the Zarp SSRP maps, which comes in handy I suppose.
PS: I think some of the staff know me now and I hope I get their full support!
