RP Name: Jenga
Time Zone: GMT Link To Steam Profile:steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198128894995 Steam ID:STEAM_0:1:84314633 GameTracker Profiles: Server 1 Server 2 Server 3 Estimated Server Time: 370 Hours Age: 15 Languages I Speak: English Scenarios: Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. The killing of a player without a reasonable/valid justification. Example, A civilian is walking around the map, he is shot by a gangster because he didn't like his name. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. A rule that prohibits a player from entering the same district that they died in, unless 3 minutes have passed.(There is an exception for Police during a nuclear launch, but only in that district.) Example, a cop is shot dead in the PD district by a wanted after trying to arrest him, he has to wait the full 3 minutes before returning. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. The act of broadcasting information that is relevant to the character in ooc (Out Of Character Chat). Example, a drug dealer says in ooc "Help, cops are raiding my base at the banker!" Situations Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. Firstly I would tp player x to a roof, i would greet them and inquire as to what their f1 is regarding. Player x would respond "player y rdmed me", reading this I would check the logs which indeed prove that player x was killed by player y. I would then bring player y to me and I would question player y as to why he killed player x. After hearing the reason I will make a judgement and if the reason is valid (mugging, kidnap etc) I will ask for evidence in the form of an screenshot and if it checks-out i will tp player y back to his original position. Alternately if player y gives no valid reason for the killing I will warn him for rdm. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Again i would tp player x to a roof and greet him, then i would ask what his f1 is about. Player x would respond with "player y broke nlr", hearing this I would check the logs which prove that player x killed player y twice in a short space of time. After this i would tp player y to my current location and then i would ask where he was killed, if it occurred in the same district I would, ask why player x killed him initially and if the reason is sufficient I would warn player y for breaking NLR. Alternately if player x gives no valid reason for killing player y i would warn player x for rdm and I will take no further action with player y. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided. Firstly I would tp to the banker, and i would then freeze him. I would explain why he is in the wrong and he would receive a verbal warning, if the banker continues even after being warned i will give him a official warning. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words) I believe I should be chosen for moderator as foremost, I am active almost daily but the main reason for my application is that I want to be able to have a first-hand approach in disciplining those who make it their job to ruin the gameplay of others. I understand the server rules and, apart from some rare cases, I have followed these rules to a point. I have been a member of the Zarp community for almost a year, and I see this position as one that will enable me to help others enjoy the server as much as I do |
