Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:. I was a mod for quite a while. I know how to deal with sits, I know the rules, I have fixed my mistakes, I've been a part of ZARP for a long time now and I want to help out by becoming a part of the ZARP Staff Team.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around: As a Moderator you can't really do anything towards hackers unless there is an Admin on. While I was Moderator and I encountered a Speed hacker. Once I found out I called an Admin to me immediately and he was banned. If there wasn't a Administrator online I wouldn't really know what to do except for freeze / jail him.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? First of all, Congratulations on becoming Staff, Welcome to the ZARP Staff Team if you ever need help please do not hesitate to contact myself or another Staff member online. Once again congratulations let's get onto the commands.
Warn: This command will become on of your best friends. The warn commands adds a Warning to the players In-Game profile. Only use this command if a Player has broken a Server Rule. To execute this command simply type - /Warn (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID,) then type the Reason for the Warning
Warn Example: Player R has just killed Player G right in-front of your eyes and he clearly had no reason to! You bring Player R to a roof and question him. If he did not have a reason to then you would type /warn (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID)
Freeze: This command will revoke their ability to move. This command is used mostly when somebody is RDMing, RDAing, or Stun Stick abusing. To execute this command type - /Freeze (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID.) They will now be frozen and you can talk to them.
Freeze Example: Player R is attempting to RDM you! You quickly freeze him and bring him to a roof and question him about why he is shooting you.
Kick: The kick command will force the player you are executing the command on to leave the server. To execute this command simply type /kick (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID,) (Reason) Make sure you have a good reason to kick somebody.
Kick Example: Player R is propblocking somebody and refuses to remove the props. If there is no Administrator online to remove the props you can Kick the player if he continues to refuse to remove the props.
Slay: The Slay command will kill the player you are executing the command on, on the spot. To execute this command simply type - /slay (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID,)
Slay Example: Player R is currently a Citizen and is holding a Big Weapon. You tell him he cannot have a Big Weapon as a Citizen and needs to either Change Job or Drop / Holster the weapon. If he refuses to do so you can Slay him.
Teleport This is one of the most useful command you will use. Teleport will teleport you to wherever your crosshair is aimed at. To execute this command simply type /tp. This command is also used to teleport a player to you. To teleport a player to you simply type /tp (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID,) and it will teleport them where your crosshair is placed.
Teleport Example: You are currently stuck in either a wall or a prop. You can get out of that position by typing looking away from the wall / prop and typing /tp
Goto: This command is used to teleport yourself to a Player. To execute this command simply type /Goto (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID.)
Goto Example: You are now handling an F1. You need to goto that person in order to do their F1.
Back: The Back command is used to teleport yourself or another player to their original position before either You teleported or they were Teleported. To execute this command simply type /back to return yourself or /back (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID.) to return them after TPing them.
Bring: The Bring command brings the player you are executing the command on to your current location. This command is usually used during Sits to teleport the player being reported to you. To execute this command simply type /Bring (Steam Name, RPName, SteamID.) and they will be brought to you.
Bring Example: Player Y is reporting Player R for RDMing him. You hear Player Ys story on what happened and now you need to bring Player R for his side.
Now that commands are out of the way we will talk about the F1 menu.
F1: The F1 bind will bring up a list of F1's (If Any) instead of bringing up the Report Screen due to you being Staff. From this screen you will be able to view the Logs and the list of F1's. This menu will be your most used one as Staff. To start handling an F1 right click the F1 and click "Handle," you will now need to right click their name again and click either Goto or Bring. To view the logs click on "Logging" and type in the name you are wanting to view the logs for. Example. Player Y claims that Player R RDMed him so you need to check the logs. You type in Player R into the Logs and find out that Player R did indeed kill him.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for prop spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I'd like to thank you for creating a well done Ban Appeal and I noticed that this is your first ban on record. Thank you for appealing. I will not unban you but however I will lower you ban to 1 week due to how serious this is.. Please do NOT attempt to prop spam again as it can crash the server and you will likely be banned again.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). In the past I was a Administrator for 7 months and 2 weeks until I resigned. I regret resigning and I will not be resigning any time soon If I get Accepted. I feel that being Administrator for that long I am trusted with the Powers given to the Administrator Rank. I have ever only been reported once and I have learned from my mistakes. As an Administrator I can help out the ZARP SSRP Server(s) by getting rid of the people that refuse to follow rules. I have been in the community for a LONG time and I know all the rules and I follow them. I have not received a warning since I left the Staff Team. If I receive Administrator again I will definitely be doing loads of F1's and helping out the Community again. I really enjoy the DarkRP Game mode and I hope I can get my Administrator rank back.
Thank you for looking over my Application.
