▼ How you feel that your time as a Mod will contribute to you becoming an admin ▼
It's been over six months since I was last a Moderator, being one has contributed me to learning the basics of moderating a server and it's community of players. As a Moderator I was taught how to handle situations which require a staff members intervention and overall my time as as a Moderator has improved my Administrative Skills/Abilities and by that will help contribute to me becoming a good Administrator.
▼ Explain a situation as a Mod you encountered that was an obstacle for you ▼
During my time as a Moderator in the SSRP Server, there were two F1 requests, reporting a guy using speed hacks, the players who reported the guy had no proof so it seemed as the reported player was using Amphetamine (Speed Drug) I than had to contact a Head Admin to check if the player indeed had hacks cause I had no proof nor did the player admit to hacking. The Head Admin concluded that the player was hacking and banned him.
▼ If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? ▼
This Section Will Have A Few Steps:
- I would welcome the new staff member to the team & emphasize that if he has any questions, He shouldn't hold back. and ask me or other staff using the staff chat (@).
- I than would go over with him on all the commands & console commands which are available for him.
- To finish I would redirect him to the staff guide I wrote half a year ago containing all needed information for new and old staff members. - The Guide
▼ Explain how you would handle the following situation: ▼
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Player 'X' has broken a base rule in all of Garry's Mod DarkRP servers, it is highly not possible that he did not know doing so is not allowed. The Player might have evidence that can work to his side, for example pressing 'Q' in mistake while having a auto clicker on. considering he does I will shorten the Ban to a week or so, considering he doesn't have evidence for his defense I will consider not accepting his appeal even if it's written in great detail and high language, Although I will ask two more staff members for their verdict on the appeal.
▼ Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words) ▼
I am a mature, responsible, calm & friendly player, I have received lot of knowledge of Zarp during my time as a staff member - both Moderator & Administrator, I spend a lot of time in the Zarp Community whether it's in the forums or in the servers disregarding my inactivity these past months which caused my demote. I've handled a lot of Requests of players and I'm sure each and every one of them left my sits with a happy feeling, I would like to return to the staff team so I could help players lead a better gametime in the server, I believe my contribution currently is very low than what I can actually provide and do for the server if I am to be accepted as a staff member again. I have countered several situations lately in which I could not help as I am not a staff and could not recive help as most of the team was offline. I believe I have achieved enough trust from the players of Zarp SSRP and from the staff.
I hope to receive your approval and support, Thank you.
