Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match also known as "RDM" is when a player kills another player with no reason.
A: Hello
B: Hey!
A: Fuck you!
A kills B
A killed B without a reason.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
The New Life Rule means when you were killed, you do not remember anything that happend before you died
You cant return to the same district you were killed in for 3 mins. Also you can not have revenge on that person after he killed you if you would it would be counted as RDM(Random Death Match)
A kills B
B goes back to the area where he/she was killed while the NLR timer is still active
B broke the NLR rule
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when you are using OOC(out of Character)chat to talk about in character things.
Example:
A raided B
A died while the raid
A types in OOC chat everybody go to B's base it is next to the Gas Station he has alot of printers!
Now A broke the Metagaming rule, also the NLR rule since he said something that happend or he saw in before he died
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would start off with teleporting both persons to a place were we could talk about the situation.
I would ask if any of them have proof.
I would listen to both sides of the story and make my decisionif there is enough proof to punish player y for the RDM.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I will teleport y to a place where we could talk and I could listen to his side of the story of what happend, if he admits to it I would warn him or if player x has proof of him breaking NLR.Otherwise with no evidence I wouldn't make the desicion to punish player Y.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would teleport to player x and ask him which rule did he just break, if he answers it correctly I would ask him why did he break it if he knew the rule and punish him accordingly. If he says he does not know which rule he break I would tell him to read the rules again, and give him a verbal warning.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
Hello my name is Fluffy,
I have been a long member of the Zarp community and proudly of course.
I have been a member of Zarp since 2013 November.
I use to also be a staff member of Zarp's DarkRP server but due to my inactivity I was demoted.
Now I am back and want to rejoin the staff to help clean up the server of rule breakers and help the community out.
And as I said in my first ever mod application 1.8 years ago I kept my promise of sticking to the community and helping it out. I wanted to reapply since I felt comfortable with knowing the new rules.
I have been Admin on many servers(4 servers)
Unfortunately they have all been shut down.
I know quite a few languages so if anybody would be struggling talking English I would help them in the language they feel more comfortable in.
Since the last time I applied I have improved my activity also the application.
I made the application better to read and also changed the explanation of a few rules.
I was denied last time because of my warnings.
I understand I had alot of warnings and still do have some.
You can see the warning started getting less and less at one point.
