Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario

Random Deathmatch rule more commonly known as RDM is were someone kills another person without a valid reason to why examples of this are:

New life rule more commonly known as NLR is were someone remembers or goes back to a place where they died examples of this are:

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

I would teleport both of them to a roof so I can speak over the situation then I would ask Player Y why he killed Player X is there is no valid reason/evidence for a reason I would give a verbal or a warning to player Y and tell him to not RDM again if he doesn't know the rules I would then tell him to open up !MOTD and read over them.

Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would teleport them both to a roof if they weren't doing anything I would then proceed to check the console and if the kills are very close I would ask what the situation was if it was just plain out NLR I would give a verbal/warning to player Y and tell them to open !MOTD if he is unsure about some rules.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would /pm player X to tell him that, that is meta gaming I would then proceed to wait until his raid was finished to maybe teleport him to a roof and go over the rules with him if he was unsure.


Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
First of all I want to address the situation that you all are probably aware of the ban I experienced months ago as I have said in recent posts I was very immature to get banned from such a great server with an amazing community I would love to return as a staff member because I really think I fit in with everyone and get along with people, I'm always here to help everyone when its needed and I'm really easy to speak to, I would obey the rules whilst punishing people who don't and priding people who do, I think I would be a great part of the community as also I am on very often meaning everyday after school I want to dedicate as much time as humanly possible to ensure that people have an amazing roleplaying experience.

Maybe apply next week? You're a great guy, and so I've heard anyways, but I think you should wait 1 more week for solid activity since you rejoined the community recently. For now, I'm neutral.

I appreciate your comment, To a certain degree I think the same way but as of playing everyday as I do, I thought I would apply plus staff know how active I was back when I was staff before I had my slip up and resigned then got banned.

I believe you need to wait a bit longer so your activity can catch up to what is wanted for applicants as well as the community needs to see that you've changed. We'd be going off on a limb I believe if we just accepted a guy days after he was un-community banned.

Fair enough although I think I've gained trust back with staff obviously not all.

Thank you as I've said to everyone else I've returned recently because of my ban and I come on every single day as I did when I wasn't banned. I came back on the day that says 5d and it was really late so I needed to go off.

plus if 4 days is known as inactive, then I'm not inactive

Ok I'll get started. First of all you just came back from a community ban. I don't know why but I know its a bit more serious than mass rdm... your activity is terrible as well. Even if you did just come back you have to prove to us that you are going to be active. Now onto the application

Its actually amazing, There is nothing I can find that would even suggest you don't know what you are doing. But I am afraid until the above improves then I will not give you my support

Yeah I agree my activity isn't great because of the ban if that wasn't a thing obviously I'd be on all the time and I'm trying my hardest to show all staff and players my other mature side of me now that doesn't get warned and reports rulebreakers :> I just hope you guys can see through my cm ban as it was a huge mistake me putting what I did in /ooc, I have had months of time to reflect on what I did and how much I wanted to return to zarp and become staff again.
