When it will be appropriate to use the ban command? I think there are a few situations in which the ban command is very useful, and i will list them below;
Mass RulebreakIf a user is mass rulebreaking (4+ rulebreaks) a ban will be appropriate. An example of this would be Jim Decides to trapspam. Then after he is slain, he then continues to chatspam. After he is Muted, he continues to Micspam, and shout racist comments. This would be 4 rulebreaks, and therefore a ban would be used accordingly.
Leaving to Avoid PunishmentIf a player leaves to avoid punishment, then a ban could be appropriate. An example of this would be that Bob decides to disrespect and horras a player in chat, and then gets muted. He then continues to say via mic "fuck the server", then leaves to avoid punishment.
Racism (After warnings)If a user is racist, and continues after warnings, a ban could be applied. An example of this can be that Liam starts to shout racist comments in chat, and then gets muted and warned. He then continues in mic chat, shouting highly racist things, even after the warning.
Hacking/SciptingIf a user was very obviously hacking, and an admin had proof, the ban command could be appropriate. An example of this could be that Bob brags about having an aim bot in mic, and after some time watching, the admin discoveres that he has an aim hack.
VIP ScammingIf a user approached an administrator with sufficient evidence that another user had scammed VIP, the ban command could be used. An example of this could be that Jim decides to scam Bob for VIP, then JIm gathers recordings showing that it was a scam, and reports it to an administrator.
Explain any situation you had to work around in your time as a moderator. How could your promotion help this? A good example of this would be what happened today. My friend asked me to log onto the server, because there were many people mic spamming, and refused to stop. I logged on, and there were several people mic spamming, and constantly trolling. Also, another situation that i found hard to deal with was a situation including 3 individuals. They decided that all 3 of them would talk at once, but one of them would play racist music, so that it was hard to find out who was doing it. My promotion would help this due to the fact that it would give me the power to ban users if they are mass rule breaking, and refusing to listen to me.
Why I should be promoted There are many reasons why i think i should be promoted, and i will list them below;
Knowledge
I would like to think that during my time as a moderator, i have shown the community that i have very good knowledge of the rules. This is due to the fact that i used to own my own death run community, and the rules were very similar to the ones featured here at Zarp Gaming. Also, i have spent countless ours reading over the rules, so as to make as little chance as possible of me making mistakes via not knowing the rules well.
Experience
Due to the fact i am an Administrator on the Zarp Gaming SSRP servers, i have lots of experience on how to deal with people breaking rules, and what to do in certain situations that include rule breakers. I believe this follows onto death run, as i have shown many times that i know how and when to deal with rule breaks on the server.
Finalization
I think i should be chosen because i am dedicated, friendly, and i know how to deal with rule breakers accordingly.
Thanks for reading my application, sorry for any spelling errors, written at 2am!
