The first reason (for me the most important) is that I hate someone breaks the rules and I can not do anything about it. You are saying that you would first verbally warn him, thats good! But the other thing is that if he keeps disrespecting you would mute or gag him and give him a warning. Why a warning? Because the disrespecting player didn't listen to you in the first place.
