DarkRP
RDM - Killing another player without the proper conditions and therefore and unfair death to the that player. Killing someone as a citizen with a heavy weapon, as they're not allowed to own it.
NLR - Meaning that when you die you are reborn and roleplay to the fact that your are unaware of what happened before you died. You would break this rule by returning to district of death before the 3 minutes are up.
MetaGaming - Talking out of roleplay context about the current game. e.g Using /ooc (out of character) to talk about a gundealer's actions.
RDM situation - I would bring both player x and player y to a mod sit away from the rest of the players and ask player y for his reason for killing player x. If player y were to deny the killing, i would immediately warn player y for RDM as he was obviously lying unless he gave a more complicated reason for believing he is innocent, I would then have to push for more detail and see if it can be resolved with the two of them as a misunderstanding and ultimately give player y a recorded warning.
If player y is cheeky in the sit and doesn't care about his actions to player x, i would then issue a kick to the player and possibly a ban depending on how he acts in the sit.
Most of the time in this situation, player y would receive a single warning and they would both continue to play.
NLR situation - With both of them at a sit, i would start off by asking player y if he is familiar with the rule of NLR. If he is then i will tell him that I can see he has killed player x twice within the NLR timer and issue a warn.
If player y is unfamiliar with the NLR rule I will send player x back and keep player y to explain the rule to him and direct him to the server rules so that he doesn't break anymore. In this situation player y would still receive a warning for his actions.
MetaGaming situation - I would see the message by the player and teleport to him. If the area is crowded and unsuitable to talk in, i would teleport him out. When I am in a position to speak to him and they're paying attention i will explain that he has broken a the rule 'Metagaming' and tell him that ooc stands for out of character and can therefore not be used to tell the other players about the raid. This would then be followed with a warning.
I should be chosen as staff because I have a lot of experience as a member of staff through the 'werwolf' community as moderator of DarkRP and admin of Jailbreak. Through my experience i've learnt all about ULX and how a community is run. I've done many mod-sits with players with all kinds of situations and even in some of the most difficult and abnormal circumstances have generally handled it well and fairly. I noticed that at my time as staff that the players were generally very pleased with the action I took on the accused and also the accused be grateful for someone to show them how they can prevent it in future. I'm very happy when I'm able to moderate a server which means that the players can generally enjoy their time on the server when they see i'm in a positive mood. However on some occasions I can mistakably be unpleasant when things aren't run so well, which I have regreatably done as a user when my time on the server was being ruined by other players and no one was there to help I handled this wrong as a player and should have gone to forums with my frustration. I am however improving this and is very rare.
Overall, I've been on and off the server and never fully stuck to it until recently and have begun to really see how much this server has done for its players by adding many unique features for the server. I feel I'll be really happy as part of the staff team here and i really want to help others have the best possible experience here too.
As of now I am currently not part of any other community.
I left 'Werwolf' about 5 months ago due to wanting a break of Gmod as a whole and had no intention of returning.
