Details RP Name: Phantom Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/id/GregT2207/ SteamID: STEAM_0:0:64210127 Current Gametracker Profiles: Server 1 - gametracker.com/player/Phantom/play.zarpgaming.com:27015/ Server 2 - gametracker.com/player/Phantom/play.zarpgaming.com:27025/ Age: 15 Estimated Server Time: 370 hours under "Phantom". 400+ in total Languages I speak: English, French DarkRP Related Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Random Death Match (or simply RDM) is the act of damaging/killing someone without a valid roleplay reason. Every kill must be warranted within the roleplay. Example: Player X doesn't like Player Y, so he kills him. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. New Life Rule (or simply NLR) is the rule that once you die, you must forget all the knowledge that you gathered during your previous life. This includes the location you died at and thus you may not enter that district for 3 minutes. Example: Player X dies in District Y and runs back to District Y, arriving within 30 seconds. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is the act of conveying in character information through out of character media, and vice versa. Example: Player X uses the OOC chat to inform police officers of a crime. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. Player X accuses player Y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player Y killed player X. I would first ask if either Player X had any proof of his claims or Player Y would like to confess. If it was proven that Player Y had RDMed, he would be warned. Otherwise the situation would be dismissed. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Player X accuses Player Y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would first ask if either Player Y had any proof against Player X's claims or he would like to confess. If not, I would use my judgement to decide whether I can definitely see that NLR was broken and thus issue a warning. If the logs seemed doubtful or Player Y had proof to deny the claims, the situation would be dismissed. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided Player X calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided. I would message Player X to inform him of the rule he broke and explain it. If he needed further explanation I would teleport to him. Once he came to understand the rule he would be verbally warned if he broke the rule in ignorance. If he knew of the rule and/or did it multiple times he would be officially warned. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I have been a member of the ZARP community for almost 3 years now and I've always enjoyed my time spent on it. I have built up friendships with player and staff alike and come to know the rules very well. I always do my best to follow the rules when on the SSRP server in order to make the roleplaying experience enjoyable for everyone. I have been a staff member on many ZARP servers over those years but have resigned due to lack of time. I'd now like to re-apply for the position of moderator here and once again contribute to the community. I have been very active the last few weeks and hope that you can see I try very hard to be up to the standards required for moderator here on ZARP. I've had little to no warnings over the past week and I hope that shows you how much I appreciate obeying the rules. I've been favourable to the admins and tried my best to be a good player. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my application and I appreciate whatever decision you come to. |
