DarkRP related:
Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
"Random Death Match" means simply, if 1 Player kills one or more players without a valid rp reason.
An example for this would be: Presents have spawned around the christmas tree. Player X walks towards to said presents. Player Y sees Player X and the presents, he decides to kill him in order to collect all the presents himself.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
The "New Life Rule" states, if 1 Player dies, he cannot enter or interact with the area/district he died in. It also means the moment one player dies and respawns, said player forgets everything about his last life and has to start a new one.
An example would be: Player X died during a raid in a house next to the car dealer. Player X then returns to the car dealer shortly after he died in order to spawn his car.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
"Metagaming means one player shall not give rp/in-character information in the channels that are out of character, the same goes the other way around in some cases, e.g. a person posts non rp related information in the advert channel.
An example would be: Player X dies during a raid on his gun shop, he then writes in the ooc chat "Help police, my gun shop is being raided!", this is In-Character information and has no reason to be in the ooc-channel.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
Firstly I would teleport myself to player x, informing him that I would handle his F1 and if it is ok if I teleport him to a more quiet position. I then would hear his side of the story, once he is finished I would ask him if he had proof of the situation.
In the next step I would teleport player y to us, to get his side of the story. If the suspect explains a valid kill, I'd ask for details in their stories, to see any differences. If there are differences e.g. Player y says he killed player x during a raid and player x says he was simply shot on the street, in these situations are different things you can do.
I would probably make careful use of a lie and say that we have proof of player y rdming. I would only do this in situations in which I am sure that the suspect is lying.
An option I would make use of more often would be just asking for more details in each story and see if either the accuser or the accused contradict themselves in their own story. From there on most people will just contradict themselves more or admit the rulebreak. After the the situation has been cleared up I would warn/not warn the accused. In case of a warning I would then explain the accused that he should read the rule for rdming again and I would tell him to not do it again.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
If the tiime difference between the kills is smaller than 3 minutes I'd teleport to the accuser and inform him about me doing his F1 and asking if it is ok for him if I'd teleport him to a more quiet place. I would then hear out his story. After he is done I would teleport player y to the sit and ask him why he broke nlr. If he has no valid explanation he would get punished and I'd tell him to read the rule for NLR again.
But in a case, in which player y explains that he killed in totally different placed for totally different reasons, I'd ask player x if he got proof of the situation. If not, I'd ask both of the parties for the stories again, especially the story of player y, since his story is more likely to be a lie.
If I find out that player Y is lying I'd punish him, explain him to read the rule again and also tell him that he'd better not lie in the next f1, since it is probably going to end worth for him.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
If this is the first time player x does so, I would ask him to stop metagaming in the ooc-channel and tell him to read the metagaming rule again.
If this is not the first time I see him metagaming I'd verbally warn him to stop. If said player does not stop I'd warn him for metagaming.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I think there is more than one good reason for me to be chosen, I am a very active player, aswell as I already have a couple of hours in DarpRP on my back. Another reason would be me being a pretty experienced player that knows the rules because of this pretty well. I also was a moderator a fairly long time ago.
If we look at me in person, I like to help people and have no problem explaining things to them. I always try to remain calm and keep my cool, as it won't help anyone if I get mad. I think of myself as a kind person which can really help people having a better experience. But I act quite strict in cases of disrespect, since I do not tolerate such things.
As far as the responsibilities go as a staff member, I would act neutral in F1. I would not abuse any of the power given to me, I would use them responsibly and not for my own sake as a player.
With these things said I think I would be a good addition to the zarp staff team.
*Edit* Please note that I just got warned for my nuke which I activated a couple of days ago, the transparency I used was too low and so the ladder which lead to the nuke was nearly invisible. I am sorry for doing so, since I did not know that you cannot have such low transperancy (used looking back maybe roughly 60). This was honestly a stupid mistake as I should have checked the rules again when I did it back then. Please note that this will not happen again, thanks for reading.
