Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
I have had quite a long time as moderator now, this is because I felt like I needed to get to know the inner workings of Bhop and it's staff team. Now I feel pretty confident with the staff team and the game mode of Bhop and it's administrative features. So knowing these things it will help me in becoming an admin on the server having full confidence in managing the players when I'm playing Bhop.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
There have been a few moments while I was a moderator that have been difficult to handle, one of these situations involved players who were mass disrespecting on the server. I gaged and muted the players but they continued to re-join, so eventually I managed to reach an admin who joined the server and baned the players. But without the admin helpfully being online at the time I couldn't have handled this situation and I would have had to go on the forums and report the players, with sufficient proof. Having the admin rank would have allowed me to quickly and efficiently handle this situation without having to bother an other admin.

If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?


Congratulations on becoming a Bhop Moderator!
I would like to congratulate you on becoming a Bhop Moderator, and well done. You have 3 new commands 'Gag', 'Mute' and 'Teleport' you can access these command by typing "!admin" in chat. I suggest that you bind this by typing:
Bind "insert the key you wish" "say !admin"
When you do this it will allow you to open the admin panel a lot faster and easily.

'Gag'
This command can be used to mute a players voice when speaking in-game. All you have to do is select there name on the right-hand side and then press the Gag button. You can use this command at your will and when you deem appropriate in accordance with the situation.

'Mute'
This command can be used to mute a players chat. It is the same as the previous command when using it, all you need to do is select the players name and then click the button on the right. This command can come in handy when a player is chat spamming or being offensive.

'Teleport'
This command is used to teleport you or another user to someone else, you wont use this much as it is basically unneeded and unused but is still a command. All you have to do is copy your steam ID from the menu on the right, then click on the player you wish to teleport to and paste your steam ID in the bottom. Then click the teleport button you should teleport successfully.

After a time you deem appropriate you can ungag/unmute a user, this is giving them a fair opportunity to show themselves as a good player. When you do ungag/unmute them and they continue re-mute/gag them and attempt to inform and admin about the situation. You can now also speak/talk in admin chat, you can do this by pressing "u" or your team chat button. This will allow you to communicate with other staff members while playing in case you need help or fancy a chat. Finally remember you can always ask questions and don't be scared to, other staff members will help you.

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?


Hello, I would like to thank you for making the effort to appeal your ban. By doing this you are showing commitment to the server, and that you would like to play on our Bhop server again. As you most likely know your actions were completely against our rules at Zarp, but I have decided that I will unban you. This is because you have gone to the effort to make an unban appeal, also you sound very apologetic after your actions. I will leave you with this reminder that if I see any of this action again you shall be permanently banned, you will also be watched while playing the server until your trust is regained with the community.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words).
I feel that I should be accepted as admin because I have shown my ability to moderate the server, which with the new powers that will be given to me if I receive the promotion, will vastly improve my ability to control situations on the server. I am already trusted with the admin rank on SSRP and have had this rank for around 4 months. showing my dedication. I would like to carry this dedication over to Bhop and assist in the administration of such a great server. Also, as the server is receiving a large new influx of players on the server, sometimes with it even being full, another administrator on the team will assist in helping the server. I would appreciate this promotion and think it would benefit the server as a whole. Thanks for reading!
