Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.

Introduction
The time as moderator is important for any admin, why, I hear you ask while emphatically awaiting a response to this rhetorical question? Because it has re taught me the fundamental principles that are at the core of being staff.

Learning
There are many different tools to learn when being an admin, an the smooth ease into it with moderating is an important part in training a competent admin who can handle F1s well and deal with rulebreakers in a way that delivers a satisfying outcome for both the reporter and the rulebreaker (if he wants to play on the server, if not the ban hammer is waiting.)

The importance of trust
My recent demotion may have broken some of the trust I have built up with the lead team, but I feel like I have cemented that trust with my hard work and dedication to doing F1s over the past few weeks. I also like to think that I've shown people who didn't believe I could work well under pressure as a moderator that I can, as I would hope that most people in the staff team now trust me, and have seen the quality of work I am capable of when I am trying to be serious.

The Rules
My time as mod has been testing at points, due to the lack of commands compared to what I was used to. At points early on in my moderating term I wasn't certain about, but I have overcome these doubts pertaining to certain rules and I now have a clear view of the rules and how to enforce them effectively. I am ready for admin in this regard, because I have a competent understanding of even the demanding of situations.

Conclusion
In conclusion, I have improved over the past weeks I've been mod, I've done many F1s and satisfied many people. I feel that I am ready for this, and hey, what's the worst that could happen!?

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
I've encountered many difficult situations. One of which was the difficult task of trying to deal with many mass RDMers at once. A group of people came on the server with the sole purpose of RDMing. I couldn't do much as every time I TPed to them to see their names they killed me, so I had to TP to them, get killed, freeze the guy who killed me, TP back, and rinse and repeat.
If I was admin this situation would be far easier as I could godmode then go in and freeze them all with the physgun, as opposed to typing out the whole command or using tab menu.


If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello! This post is aimed at training your moderator skills, you may already be familiar with some of these commands but if that is the case I hope to jog your memory.

First of all, let me extend my congratulations on attaining mod, well done!

Here's a few commands that will be beneficial for you to know:

/freeze (name/steamid) - Prevents movement of a target user
/warn (name/steamid) (Reason) - Warns a user using the warn system (3 warns is a kick, 4 is a ban)
/kick (name/steamid) (Reason) - Kicks a player from the server, only use in dire circumstances, usually you should use the warn system.
/slay (name/steamid) - Kills a target
/tp (name/steamid) - TPs a player to the cursor's position - Use this as opposed to bring as bring doesn't work with /back
/back (name/steamid) - TPs a player back to a location prior to their most recent teleport.
/goto (name/steamid) - Teleport to a user.
All of these commands can be typed in chat or via the tab menu.

In the next section I'll run you through basic F1 protocol.

1. NEVER bring the F1 maker to you, always TP to them to avoid annoyance from the F1 maker
2. Always consider the motives / context of a rulebreak, sometimes if it's a mistake it's better to let them off with a verbal.
3. You should use slay or kick very rarely, use the warn system.
4. Don't freeze accused as soon as you TP them, it annoys the accused user.
5. Be polite, explain reasons for warns and try and wish them a nice day!

That about sums it up, good luck, may the F1s be in your favour!

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hello X! I caught you propspamming. That's a serious offence and the server has zero tolerance for propspammers. However, seeing as you've created such an emphatic apology, which shows that you do care for ZARP, I've decided to give you the benefit of the doubt and chalk it down to a one time lapse of judgement.

Your ban will be shortened to 3 days. After that you can play again.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words)
I'm committed to my role as admin at ZARP,I was devastated when I heard I had been demoted. I want to help the community that's given me a place to play for nearly 2 years. Attaining admin again will allow me to perform my duties with more ease, due to the commands that entails administration on ZARP. I like to think whenever I'm on I try and do any F1s I can, and that I deliver a swift, but effective service that leaves both the rule breaker and the reporter satisfied with the outcome.
I also like to think I've honed my abilities to deal with rulebreakers, and I can identify different scenarios and contexts to situations that allows me to come to more dynamic conclusions that not only benefit my abilities but the mindset of the rulebreakers I deal with. Sometimes I find it difficult to work with the limited toolset that I have as a mod, some situations, such as propblock, would be easier to deal with when admin, and I feel that I'm ready for that position now.
I know there's a lot of trust being placed in me as it is, but all I'm asking is a chance to prove myself similar to what I've done with mod.

Footnote I'm not going to beat about the bush and say my demotion wasn't warranted. But what I can say was it had nothing to do with my ability to handle F1s or do staff duties, it was about conduct with other administrators in the community. I've apologized and ceased such activities.

RDMing me with a Machete

Its gonna take alot more then a few weeks to convince me that you've changed. You have had more chances then anyone to change and do better. But yet every single time you have "claimed" to change you've never trully done it, its just an act. Your faced with a punishment(Community ban/Demotion) and you suddenly cry out to everyone that your gonna change but guess what happens affter a couple weeks of that? The true Extrobite returns and nothing has changed. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. And to me trusting you to truly change is at this point insane.

FYI since I know how you love to say that I'm against you, I dont have a problem with you personaly. You seem like a nice enough guy, but what I do have a problem with is your actions. And your acctions in the past have continually proven what I said above to be true and you only have yourself to blaime for that.
