When it will be appropriate to use the ban command?
The ban command is to be used when a player is mass rulebreaking. They would be banned for a reasonable amount of time for the rules broken. If someone leaves to avoid being punished or rejoins to avoid being punished they would usually get banned for a day depending on the rules they broke prior to leaving. A permaban would be used for people that are hacking or giving DDOS threats.

Explain any situation you had to work around in your time as a moderator. How could your promotion help this?
A guy used an exploit on a map and got slayed and warned for it. He then proceeded to be very disrespectful to players and staff in chat after being gagged and muted for it on the map before. So I asked an admin on the server to ban him for mass disrespect and he got banned for two days. My promotion could help this because I wouldn't have to ask an admin to ban someone for me which can sometimes take time when someone is mass rulebreaking.

Why I should be promoted
I feel like I should be promoted because I am an active staff member on the server and I really enjoy helping out the server so I feel like I could help out the server even more if I was this rank. I also feel like I am trusted with the powers as I am an admin on Bhop and an ex-admin on SSRP. I also feel like I am ready for the responsibilities of being this rank on the server and feel that I would be able to help out more in general because of the commands I would now have access to to. I would also love to be part of this great section of the DR staff team.
