When Would It be Appropriate to use the ban command?

A ban command should only be used when a player is constantly breaking the rules, or is doing something hurtful like racism. These are some of examples of when it should be necessary -

Racism

Racism shouldn't be tolerated and I think a ban command is necessary for a situation for this.
For example - We have a player, he is talking over chat and microphone and for this type of propaganda he is saying 'All black people are slaves' I would act appon this by giving them a warning a gag/mute and consult with further admins for a ban, the ban would last around 5 days. Depending on how bad the situation is.

Punishment avoiding

Punishment avoiding is when a player is gagged for example and just leaves then rejoins the server. This will give the player the right to talk again. How I would deal with this, I would give them a verbal warning and give them the punishment of what they avoided. If they due to carry on and bypass the punishments I would ban them for about 1-2 hours to give them the message of to not do it again.

A situation I could of dealt with better if I was admin

Once there was a time when a guy was being racist but there was no other staff members but me on. I had to gag him and give the player multiple warnings, but he'd keep on punishment avoiding so I couldn't ban him or keep him under control because he wouldn't listen. I had to contact an admin in my friends list but non of them seemed to be on so I just had to keep everything calm as I possible could. Eventually I was able to contact an admin and he was able to get on and ban him. I could of dealt with this situation so much faster if I was an admin as it would only take me a couple of minuted to stop the player as of then it took me about 30 minutes.

Why should I be promoted?

Well, that's a very good question. I should be promoted because I'm motivated to help you guys out and support this community as much as possible. I am also friendly but also reasonable moderator as I can deal with situations quickly and efficiently. Since I have quite a good understanding of how to deal with rule breakers but I would be able to deal with them correctly if I had the powers. I work with all the staff very well and I have made many friends of this rank, so when it comes to meetings and situations what need dealing with I can be social and trusted by you guys.
