Michael Smith Link to Steam Profile : steamcommunity.com/id/zarpmichael SteamID: STEAM_0:1:67719896 Current Gametracker Profiles: SSRP 1 (Only been on this one) "Click Here" I have only been able to come on for a few hours a day for the past few days this week due to a family issue, my gametime will now be returning to normal (300 hours a day) * Gametracker did not record all of my gameplay for the 28th and 29th of October. Some reason it has cut the time down to 3 minutes for one and 8 for the other which is rather strange as I was on 2 to 4 hours both days. * SSRP 2 (Not been on this server) - "Click Here" Age: 18 Estimated Server Time: 170 hours Languages I speak: English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: RDM is when someone randomly kills another player. RDM / Random Death Match is one of the most common rule breaks in DarkRP. RDM would usually be dealt with a warn or if the users RDM's in large numbers then a small to medium ban should be issued. Repeat offences of single RDM should result in a warn each time and if multiple mass RDM's are carried out then a perma ban should be issued. For a direct example, Player X kills Player Y when he was building his shop for no reason other than he wanted to build there. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: New life rule or NLR is when a user returns to the place of death within the time limit set by the server owner. For Zarp this is 3 minutes and it is done by districts instead of a single place of death. An example would be Dave killed Bob in a raid, Bob gets mad and returns back to his base before the timer was up. A NLR break is usually dealt with a simple warning. Repeat offences should result in more warnings or a small ban. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario: On normal servers metagaming is when someone uses in game specifics or ooc chat to reveal information that the player should not know example a players job. A example of this if a person said a user is a theif without actually witnessing them stealing. But with Zarp, metagaming is when users do not use the right chat channels to communicate. OOC is for out of character and IC is for in character. An example would be when a gun dealer is begging people to visit his gun shop using OOC. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. In this situation I would bring both users to a area which no one was currently present which would usually be a rooftop and ask both of them to explain the situation, If there was a proper story behind it along with some proof or evidence, I would work out if either party should get a warn or if it was a direct RDM with proof then I will issue player Y with a warning. If there was a misunderstanding or something of that sort then a verbal warning will be issued. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. Even though it is a peak time I would still listen to the story and see if there is any extra proof or evidence to support it. If it was clearly a NLR rule break then a warn or verbal warning will be issued depending on the situation. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided Player X is metagaming by saying he is being raided by using OOC. Raiding is a in game roleplay action so should only be spoke about using the IC, Advert or Me channels. I would explain to him that he is metagaming and if he does not know what that is then I will explain the rule of metagaming. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I have been owner and administrator of many servers but I would like to expand my knowledge and begin another life with the zarp community. I have 3 years experience in administrating and owning servers. I am dedicated and well prepared for any situation. I am mature and will deal with any problems in a serious matter but I will also listen to what people have to say. After being on countless other servers, this is one of the most exciting and interesting servers I have been on and it is by far the most fantastic with the amount of custom content so it would be a pleasure to help keep the server clean. I see so many rule breakers, I report whenever I can but sometimes reporting is not enough. With the power of moderator it will make it easier to help fight rule breakers and on another note it would be a pleasure to work alongside the dedicated administration team of Zarp. Recent Warnings My last warning is now two weeks old, I have not received any verbal or official warnings since. Thanks everyone for reading and for this fantastic community! |

Your application is well set out, questions are correctly answered with copious amounts of detail; it looks like you really know the rules from your application.
Activity is great, same thing's said for your gametime. I'm not sure if you have recent warnings; if you do then I'm sure an Admin will provide your rapsheet for you. Goodluck |
