Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (or more commonly referred to as RDM) (in a DarkRP related situation) is killing somebody with no actual reason to kill them, or no realistic RP reason to kill them. One scenario is killing a player on the server simply because you hate them in real life, assuming they are your friend.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New life rule (NLR) is using knowledge that your player has learned from a past life, and applying it to another life without actual investigation in the new life. Many servers have a "NLR Timer" which makes sure they don't break NLR. One scenario would be killing a player who previously mugged another player while you were killed during his mug, and returned to the spot while he was doing nothing "illegal"
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is using knowledge that would simply not apply in the RP world, such as an exploit for infinite money in the game, and besides oil, that isn't going to happen.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
There could be a valid RP reason for player y to kill player x, and if they were to show no proof of y killing x, then it would be an invalid situation, with no rule breaking proven.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
Although they may have been breaking NLR at some point, if there is no timestamp for the kills in console, then there is no proof that there is 3 minutes, or say, 5 seconds between each kill.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
OOC stand for "Out-Of-Character", and since him being raided applies to his character, then that would be breaking rules.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
Ever since I joined this server about 1 and a half or so months ago, I knew there were many people on this server. Most of them, like me now, were fun, loving, and caring people who helped each-other out when rules were broken, and tried as hard as they could to have a fun role-play experience, making drugs and raiding bases.
Along with that large amount of people, there are a few people out there who are not there to RP, not there to raid, not there to print, but there only to ruin everyone's day, by running around the street with a gun, killing everybody in sight with no valid RP reason.
And then there are rule breaking moderators, don't even get me started.
With me on, you know these people will go to rest. Some people complain about having to go on duty and deal with people, but me, I love to see the social experience within all individuals, so I can learn more about Zarp and it's community. I will try to go on duty as much as I can, and heck, I have a YouTube, so why not upload there?
