Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. - I feel that it has taught me how to communicate with many different individuals and to listen to both sides of the stories to come to an understanding of situations. I generally feel that I'm now able to distinguish an individuals attitude towards there actions (not that it always applies) but you must get what I mean after doing so many f1's. I've gained valuable experience stalking other admins and asking them what they do in certain situations. Overall I've enjoyed my time as a moderator although a short time period I feel that it could be better spent as an admin.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). -
A cop was rda'ing and shooting a random citizen. I tp'd him to me and he arrested me as soon as he saw me. I then friezed him and he used the Suicide trick to re-spawn somehow. I warned him for arresting me in an admin sit and trying to use suicide trick to escape and he then got kicked from the server for having 3 warnings and he didn't come back on after that.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? -
Welcome to the team!
Advise:
) Be calm and try to settle down the claimants informing them that you will try to do the best you can in your power to sort the situation according to the rules.
) If there is an accusation without proof make sure you question the individual to see if his story matches
) Ask for evidence and inform them that later on they should try to take screenshots or video in such circumstances as it's quite hard to see who's in the wrong when 2 people are telling different stories
) LISTEN to everything the individuals are saying as they may end up admitting to the claims without them knowing
Commands -
/tp (name/steam_ID) this teleports you or the player to where you are looking at. I would advise you to make a keybind for this by going to the console and making a keybind for example [bind h "say /tp]
/Back (name/Steam_ID) this allows you to teleport the player back to his previous location or you could do
/Backspawn (name/Steam_ID) to teleport them to spawn
/goto (name/Steam_ID) teleports to the player
/bring (name/Steam_ID) teleports the player next to you, I wouldn't advise this as you can't use the /back command to put them back to there last rp position, this is usually used to teleport a player if he's dead
/slay (name/Steam_ID) this command is usually used when a citizen has a big gun and refuses to holster or drop the weapon, it instantly kills the player
/warn (Steam_ID) (reason) if a player breaks the rules then this command is used, try not to use the name and instead use the steam id as you could end up warning the wrong person. As a moderator you cannot ban people straight off but after 4 recent warnings they will be banned for a short time period
/freeze (name/Steam_ID) (time) If a player is breaking a rule (and not paying attention to what you're saying) or running from a sit then I would use this command, to unfreeze a player use the command /unfreeze (name/Steam_ID)
/unwarn (steam_ID) this command is used when you've wrongly warned someone or if there was a claim e.g. on the forums to get unwarned
/kick (steam_ID) (Reason) when a player is mass rda/rdm'ing then this command is used, try not to use the name and instead use the steam id encase you kick the wrong person
Alternatively you can hold tab and click on the players name and you can use these commands there

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hi X I see that you've been banned by me for propspam. I'm willing to reduce the ban period down to 2 weeks as you've gone out your way to write an appeal which shows that you're sorry. But in return you need to make sure that you read the rules over as ZARP has no need for rule breakers in its community.
Your ban appeal has been
Accepted we'll see you back online in 2 weeks!
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words)
I think I'm ready to become an admin as it would help me deal with situations easier, I'm a very active moderator, I do f1's whenever I can and make sure that the people are happy and understand what they've done wrong to some extent (you can't please everyone). I've been a moderator on this server before and have shown that I'm a very trustworthy individual. It would really help to have the ability to ban people as I've had many circumstances where I've had to ask admins to do so for me. I would like to help out this server and become more integrated within the team so that I can make the players experience more enjoyable. I'm happy to help people out by teaching them the ropes and advising them where necessary. I've had a great experience on this server and really enjoy playing with the people in it.
Thank you for your time, I hope you enjoy the read
