TOPIC: [SSRP] Jackelele's Moderator Application

Before I get messages and Comments about applying too early, I ask you to read this before the application.

I have put as much effort and time into this application, I believe that I can bring my trust and activity back. I believe I can improve the activity majorly if accepted, and will work on it more for next meeting if not. I’m more than happy to answer any particular questions.

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death match also known as RDM, RDM is when a player is any kind of job and he would run or
walk to and use any weapon to kill an innocent player on the server, this is RDM.

Scenario: Dave is a GodFather and finds a Citizen walking around spawn. Dave thinks the Citizen is
new, so Dave pulls out a Weapon and kills the Citizen and Walks away and finds that it was very
funny, this is Random Death match (RDM).


Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

New Life Rule also known as NLR is a rule where a Player get's killed in any area on the server. If
The player returns to the location of where he died then that is NLR.
The New Life Rule lasts for 3 minutes.

Scenario: Dave is a Thief job on the server. He leaves his base to go look for raids.
He finds a big base located far away from spawn and He thinks there's
Heroric Printers or Nuclear Printers in there. So he attempts to Crack the keypad to open the door.
But someone in the base, Spotted him once he got in and instantly killed Dave. Once he respawned and
he head in the same direction towards the place he had just died from and then tried to raid the
base again. He then broke the rule of NLR as he Went straight back to the Base with the
Time length of NLR - 3 Minutes.


Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is a rule when a player in the game talks about In game Problems In OOC chat instead
of using Advert.

Scenario: Dave is in his base while the police Batter ram his door to get into his base due to he
has illegal items. When the police Enter the house Dave says in OOC " HELP ME! The cops are
breaking into my money printer safe!!! And it's Nuclear!! They are going to destroy it!!! HELP!!!"
That's breaking the rule of Meta Gaming.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

Player x = Dave
Player y = Steve

I would teleport Dave into a more Private location and Ask for the name who RDMed
Him and teleport the person to me who is in our case Steve. I would then ask Steve if he
RDMed Dave to see if he would admit it and if he did admit it I would Warn him. If he didin't
admit it, I would check console and ask Dave if he has any proof of (Picture or Recording).
If he did have proof I would tell Steve not to ever RDM again. and Warn them both. If he didn't.
I would tell Steve to not RDM again and not give him a warn and I would
Also tell Dave if anyone ever RDMs you again make sure you take Screenshot or recording.
I would then tell them both to have a Nice day and Teleport them back to the location they
were last in. When finished the Situation I would Mark the F1 as Finish so another admin/moderator
doesn't look at it and waste time! (:

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

Player x = Dave
Player y = Steve

I would check the Console and see how close the time is to both of the kills if it's under 3 minutes
or above 3 minutes. I would then teleport Dave to a more Private place and ask him what happened
and If he has any type of proof (Recording or Pictures). I would then teleport Steve and ask for his
point of what happened. I would then Look at the pictures or recording to see What happened and if
they are under 3 minutes. I would also double check the Console logs and I would also listen to
Steve's point of what happened and see if they both match. If it did show that he broke NLR in the
pictures or Recording, I would warn Steve and tell him to Re read the rules and Tell him to have
a nice day and teleport him back to spawn. I would tell Dave to have a nice day and thanks for
reporting it and teleport him back to his last location or spawn. I would then Close the F1 as
finished.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

Player x = Dave

I would tell Dave in OOC (Out of Character). That you are Met Gaming talking in OOC. I would then
Warn him and Say use /advert instead. And tell him to have Nice day!



Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I would like to become a Moderator because I want to stop other people from ruining the Role-play experience and ensure the server in run smoothly and professionally.
If I became a Moderator of the server, I would deal with F1s with Respect and with a Good manner.
I can come on at the times other Moderators or Admins aren't on.
I have a good Experience of Moderating on Garrys Mod and on other games (Minecraft).
I play most days and If I'm not on some days it's due to me being at Cadets or School.
I am very dedicated to ZARP and an Active player. I know most of the current moderators/admins on ZARP. I've been playing ZARP for a while now Played a long time ago, and after a break,
I have returned and I am so glad I did. I love the Server and the ZARP Community.
I'm a polite and friendly person. I will always do my Duties, I know how to help other players who are confused about what they were warned for or what they can do to make sure they don’t do it again. It would be amazing to join the ZARP Staff. I have a great Sense of humour, I’m a loyal person and I hope you consider me as a Moderator on the server.
ZARP has some great features to enjoy the dark RP experience which keep the server enjoyable.
