Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Also known as "RDM". It is an act of killing a user randomly without reason to do so.
-Example would be if User A who was an innocent was aiming an incendiary grenade at a group and upon explosion, the grenade killed a few people in the group. This would be classed as "RDM". Another example of this similar incident will be if User A was a traitor that threw the incendiary grenade at the group which contained one of his fellow members that he didn't warn about.
Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
- User A who is an innocent witnessed User B killing a person and running off without inspecting the unidentified body. User A should identify the body and if it is a dead innocent, he can call a KOS on User B.
- Throwing a discombobulate at a group at a high place with certain death by falling. User A witnessing User B throwing a discombobulate at the group and sees that some fall and die. User A can call a KOS on User B.
- User A sees User B using a AWP. No traitors were identified and he hasn't announced that he found a AWP via chat or microphone. User A can kill User B.
Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
- User A is following User B and hasn't done anything traitor-like so far. User B kills him anyways. User B could have prevented this by being an unacceptable KOS by following the 2.2 rule.
- User B who is an innocent kills an AFK without informing a staff member to force spectate them if there are any at the time.
Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command.
An User mass rdm'd and left -This would be an appropriate ban command usage as he left without punishment given. I usually gave a week's worth. Another appropriate situation would be if the user declared "DDos" threats; that would be permanently. Another appropriate time would be if a player is not listening to staff orders, this would mean anywhere from having an inappropriate username and has been asked to change it to pornographic/racism sprays.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
You've still haven't changed it?
If I banned them, I'll have another admin consult it with me. When we agreed on the verdict, that admin will post his response and the appeal will be locked.
Cheating is a massive issue; it would depend, like it is in the question "great detail, apology and effort". For me personally, it also includes when the ban was given.
Why I should be promoted downgraded (It's a joke)(we recommend around 100 words).
Former staff member on multiple servers and the forums.
-Deathrun Admin, TTT Super-Admin, BHop Moderator (It was dull during that time), TS Staff and very limited rank, Section Moderator for the TTT section.
I can be trusted and can untie many situations. Maturity isn't an issue and neither is Chris' favourite word, banter. I can be very helpful in-game and in my favourite place, the forums. Never received a demotion request and been here for a great amount of time. Activity is growing again from my departure. It will be somewhat consistent in the days to come. I'm applying because it's grown quite dull; you can say it's like a soldier that doesn't want to retire after all the experience he received.
I've received one warning for "RDM" - 07/15/15
I was the detective on the canyon map. I saw a person holding a rifle which I assumed was a AWP (It had the bulky size) by the looks of it. I killed him whom was innocent. A warning is a warning and you can't do anything about it.
I've applied a couple of weeks ago but withdrew as I didn't feel fit yet.
If that's what you were wondering about.
I'm also back for my prized procession where I never had my hands on.
