Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
I feel that my time as a moderator has massively contributed to be being an admin, this is because I feel that I understand the ZARP Staff team and how the server works. This insight has allowed me to fully expand my skills as a moderator and help improve the server. Also now I know how to handle lots of different situations with people that can be exceptionally challenging.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
There is one prominent situation that occurred on sever 1, when there wasn't an admin online . There was a rule breaker who was constantly RDM'ing people and when he was brought to a sit he would attempt to leave. I had already warned him on two separate occasions for RDM and NLR. But being a moderator there wasn't much I could do, when he was kicked for being warned to often he would just re-join. So when an admin joined I requested his assistance and we handled the situation. I have never seen the rule breaker after that incident as I don't think that he was on the server to Role Play.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Congratulations on becoming a staff member.
First lets get you used to your new commands;
1. /tp [Teleports you to your cross-hair location]
2. /tp {Player Name} [Teleports the player to your cross-hair location]
3. /freeze {Player Name} [Freezes the selected player]
4. /unfreeze {Player Name} [Unfreezes the selected player]
5. /warn {Player Name/Steam ID} {Reason} [This warns the selected player for the reason provided, it's best to use Steam ID so you don't warn the wrong player]
6. /unwarn {Player Name/Steam ID} {Reason} [This unwarns the selected player for the reason provided, again it's best to use Steam ID]
7. /back [Returns yourself to your previous location before telepoting]
8. /back {Player Name} [Returns the selected player to their previous location before teleporting]
9. /backspawn {Player Name} [Returns the selected player to spawn]
10 . /goto {Player Name} [Takes you to the selected player]
11. /kick {Player Name/Steam ID} [Kicks the selected player from the game]
Your can handle F1's by pressing F1 then right clicking on the submitted F1, this will give you a menu that allows you to handle the F1 and then go to the player that has submitted it. When finished the F1 you can right click and 'Mark As Finished' this will mark the F1 as finished. All previous commands are available in the TAB menu when clicking on a players name. Also in the TAB menu you can find a players Steam ID, so you can warn them or do what is required.
Have fun moderating the ZARP servers.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Firstly it seems that you have changed and that you do regret doing what you have done. Because of this I have decided to shorten your ban to 2 weeks. But please be mindful that I will be closely monitoring you in game when you return, and that if you haven't changed there will be consequences.
ACCEPTED
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I feel that I should be promoted because my main aim on the servers is to keep them clean from rule breakers and being an admin will help me achieve this goal. ZARP is a very good community and deserves to be kept clean, the current staff team are doing a brilliant job of keeping the server running smoothly and handling rule breakers. But I feel that would be able to assist even more if I was an admin. I also believe that being an admin would help me enforce the rules of the server swiftly and efficiently, providing the best outcome for the victims and the rule breakers. Also, I have good knowledge of the server rules and have never had a demote request or abuse report while being a moderator .
Thank You for Considering My Application.
P.S. Sorry for the late application.
