What is Ghosting? and give an example: Ghosting is anything a DEAD user does that has influence on the game.
This can be but is not limited to the use of the voicechat and the textchat.
The easiest example here would be telling which portal is the safe one AFTER he died in the other portal. If he would have done that as he is alive it would be totally fine. But since he died its ghosting and should be punished with a verbal warning in case he is a new player, or a warning if he is "experienced". I above said that it is not limited to the server chats. Thats right. Steam chats, skype and etc could also be used but we do not have any control over those, so i didn't include them here.

How would you deal with a disrespectful player?: First of all what is disrespect? Disrespect in my opinion is any content, those may be words or even sprays, that offend another player (Read this topic by Jack (Stratiic), it helps: www.zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/24-2-...-i-d-like-to-clarify)
To deal with this properly needs the help if the offended player. If its confirmed disrespect it deserves a straight up warning, and not even a verbal warning. This is behavior that is straight up not tolerated.

Why I should be chosen: Actually this is pretty simple to explain. First i was thinking about creating another "about me" part in this application but i think i will include everything here. This might be a long text so take your time.

Im playing on the Zarp Servers for a very very long time now. So long, i experienced the time were Zarp Deathrun didn't have a pointshop and we all still had fun. At this time even Chris was still the community manager. I played on this Server with my girlfriend that became a moderator at a later point aswell. So i was playing on Zarp, found some friends of which some already were in the Staff team whilst other (Randomdude) joined the team at a later point. Alot of them suggested me to join the Staff team by applying for moderator. But i never saw a reason to do so. The server had good staff and everyone was happy, enjoying the time. Some time later, as Zarp stated to become popular alot of new moderators joined. The caused alot of moderator abuse since Zarp didn't have enough Admins to control the newer staff. At this point i lost the lust on Gmod and Zarp in generall.
Now ~2 years later im back. Alot has changed, the team has changed and THE TEAM HAS CHANGED.

Why me? Good question. Why do I want to be moderator?
I want to be a moderator because i saw alot of people apply for moderator. They are active for some time and either don't know what to do or just stop playing after some weeks. Thats why i want to be moderator. Im a very old and very active player on zarp. I hope that Randomdude and MrBuzzKill can confirm this. I talked and played alot with those 2 (More with Random since he is old aswell) and finally made the dicussion to apply. I simply wanted something to change. I experienced very often that moderators abused theire commands or simply missused them. Of cause in alot of cases they didn't mean to and thats fine. They are learning. But i simply want more to be a more efficient and active staff member. We barely have staff online and night, this leads to the Servers getting empty faster in the later hours. A time i play alot at.

So this basically is my story and my application. I hope it wasnt to hard to understand. I kinda have a problem organizing long texts.

EDIT: Something i forgot to mention at all because I didn't think it would matter is that i have alot of admin experience aswell so i for example know most of the common commands and how to use them and use them efficiently.
I also have deep reaching technical and computer based knowledge and experience.

I didn't come back just recently. I came back over a month ago. Thanks for your honest feedback anyways, but i think and hope this is just your opinion. All the playtime i have (over 60hours) was after i came back. I just had a hard week at work this week.

Im don't mean to break any rules at all.
I just like to provoke peopel who certainly deserve it which sometimes leads to breaking rules. Im sorry about that and I will try to improve myself.

I also talked to Randomdude about the warnings and he said Inactive warnings wont be a problem. So are the very old once due to being issued by abusive and unexperienced staff that is not in the team anymore.

If you can get good activity during this week, stay rulebreak-clean ( stop showing exploits to people ) and generally be nice, you have my:

- overall activity seems okay
- 'most of the time' nice

- known rule breaker (in the past mainly)
- can become annoying towards other people (not always)

Just work on those 'Negatives' and it will be fine

Let me clear something up here.

His gametime:
This guy has LOTS of gametime on the servers.
He is a very old player from back when I started playing on the servers, and I met him quite often.
The gametrackers has been reset a while ago, which is also the reason you dont see my 1600+ hours on the gametrackers.

His warnings:
He does have a lot of warnings, but none of them are recent.
People can change. and previous experiences have proved that.

Now on to the verdict part:
- You have made a good application.
- Your gametime is fine. (since you obviously have a lot more gametime than the gametrackers are showing.)
- Keep up the activity until friday. It's looking good so far.
- No recent warnings.
- You have a past with rulebreaking, but the times i've seen you on lately shows me that you are improving a lot.

I still remember playing with you before you even were moderator. People suggested me to write an application back then already. Anyways back to topic.

-Support He seems to try to hard and doesn't know how to have fun while helping out to enforce the rules instead he would rather harasses users such as myself about getting them banned from the server over minor things he has evidence on. Seems like a asshole to new players who don't know better. Vac bans are also a big no, no matter what in my book. The application is nice, however hours on the server doesn't compensate for how you act in-game.

VACs don't matter at all. And this might not be point of the discussion but my VAC ban got issued in Mw2 ~5years ago due to a false positive banwave. Anything else?
