Deathrun Related Information:

When it will be appropriate to use the ban command?

Banning a player, means to temporarily or permanently disallow access to the server(s). A ban is the harshest punishment available on the Zarp servers, and should be used with extreme caution.

Here is a list of situations where a ban should be used:

Hacking or Scripting:

Using hacks or scripts to gain an unfair advantage over other players is disallowed. Any sort of hacker or scripter found using hacks or scripts will be issued an instant Permanent Ban.

Any kind of serious threats ( E.g: Hack Threats or Death Threats ) :

Threatening to hack the server, or any individual on the server/related to the server is disallowed. Threatening to kill or harm someone inside of the server or related to it with a serious attitude towards it, is also disallowed, as this is a thin-ice topic, I would look into this and see if the victim of the threats takes them seriously; if not, a verbal action will be taken. Any player found threatening to do the above will be issues a Permanent Ban.

Mass Disrespect/Racism/Use of offensive language:

Disrespecting players is disallowed, along with racism and use of offensive language. Mass Disrespect/Racism/Use of offensive language will result in a ban. This would be when I have warned the player twice for Disrespect, Racism or Use of offensive language and they continued to do the above. I would ban them for the following:

Mass Disrespect:

1 - 4 Weeks for simple insults such as "Fucking idiot, Cunt, Dickhead, etc."

1 - 6 Months for extremely harsh insults, not going to say them exactly, but the general level of it: "Dead family, etc"

Mass Racism:

1 - 6 Months for making fun of people's culture, skin colour, ethnic background and country.

2 - 8 Months for use of racial slurs, and serious insults of culture, skin colour, ethnic background and country.

Mass use of Offensive language:

1 - 6 months for undirected racial slurs, cultural slurs and general insults of ethnicity and countries.

Mass Rulebreak:

Breaking rules once, twice or even three times isn't bannable, unless the player shows no intention of stopping the rulebreaking after being warned (x) number of times.

For example: I've warned a player to stop breaking x rule and he responds with "no" I would ban him, because he clearly has no intention of stopping therefore ruining people's playing experience.

Explain any situation you had to work around in your time as a moderator. How could your promotion help this?

A couple of days ago, I was the only staff member on. Everyone was following the rules until a troll joined. At first he started trapspamming, in which I slayed and warned him for, and I told him what he done wrong. He didn't care. Then he started spamming the chat with Advertisment, so I warned him once for Chat Spam, and another time for Advertisement, which then resulted in him being kicked. Later, he joined back and started disrespecting me, then I warned him for that and he was banned.

Shortly after, he joined back on another account, and started trolling, there was no point in warning him repeatedly, so I kicked him, and again, whilst waiting for an Admin to join and ban him. He was giving me DDoS threats, and also giving them to the server and he was stupid enough to even ask one of the Community Lead Team for my IP adress. I believe I stayed calm in this situation, and did what I had to until he was permanantly banned from the community.

Why I should be promoted (Give at least 75 words)

By the time this application will be reviewed, I will be a Moderator for 4 weeks, which is plenty of time to learn the rules fully and fully understand how to handle situations. I was denied for Admin a week ago for my attitude, in which I still do not fully understand but I have tried my hardest to improve my attitude, I have been more helpful and a lot more friendly to the players, instead of joking around with them alot which I think was my issue.

As I have said previously, I have set an example for a lot of staff members by getting my post stickied and pinned in the Deathrun section, and I have been told several times by staff and users alike to apply for the Admin position. As an Admin, I believe I could help the server a lot more than I currently can, by stopping rulebreakers quicker, and making sure people have fun.

Not too mention I have Admin experience, so I know the ban command very well, as well as a few others in the ULX menu, as many of you know I was a TTT and SSRP Admin here in Zarp a couple of months ago.
