RP Name - Smithyyy
Link to Steam Profile - [/b]steamcommunity.com/id/Smithyyy/ SteamID - STEAM_0:0:62727250 Current Gametracker Profiles - Smithyyy Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/player/Smithyyy/play.zarpgaming.com:27015/ Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/player/Smithyyy/play.zarpgaming.com:27025/ Age - 14 Estimated Server Time - 14000 Minutes Languages I speak - English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. - Random death match is the act of killing someone without a valid reason. For example, somebody sees someone on the street and decides to kill them because he don't like the person. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. - New life rule is going back to the district you previously died in within 3 minutes and forgetting your life before your death. For example, if someone's raiding and gets killed and goes back to the base within 3 minutes. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. - Metagaming is the process of communicating with people about particular subjects or conversations which they're not allowed to discuss over the global chat. For example, if somebody was arrested at the fountain for a valid reason and typed in global chat (OOC) "Come to the fountain and kill the cop that just arrested me". Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for Rdming him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. - I would get them both and tell player y that I know he killed player x, and would punish him with a warning. Although if there's no proof of the reasoning for the kill, I wouldn't warn any of them. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. - I'd teleport them both to a safe location and ask player y, why he killed player x within nlr time, if there's a vaild reason with proof I wouldn't warn anyone but make sure they know what nlr actually is. If player x had proof of player y breaking nlr (for example coming back to a raid within the nlr timer) I would warn player y for breaking nlr. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided - I would give him a warning for metagaming and ask him if he knows what it is, and tell him to not do it again. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). - I joined roughly 2-3 years ago (on the zombie map), I've really enjoyed the server throughout the time I've played it and gained a lot of experience on the members and staff and what to do, and what not to do. I really enjoy helping people out and solving problems, that's the main reason I'd like to be a moderator. I get into a lot of incidents on the server with people rdming me, and breaking NLR and other things, and sometimes I've crashed or not had enough proof so nothing has been done about it. Quite a few rule breakers don't get punished when they deserve it and should learn from it. Usually I have to have my recorder running just in case something happens and I'd rather not do that and have the ability to punish them myself reasonably without abusing my powers. I don't disrespect anybody, even people who are very disrespectful towards me or others. And I'd really appreciate the privilege having the role of a moderator on this server as I enjoy it more than any server I've been on. |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Recent rule break. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
