A little pre message before you read, I have edited my application due to the fact that I have recently resigned as Community Manager for FreeFallRP and I was told I could just edit this and i'd be eligible, there are no big changes, just made things a bit clearer. Thank you guys for all the help!

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match or RDM, is a term which is used when a player has killed a player without a valid roleplaying reason, it is one of the most common rule breakings along side NLR that I have seen either due to a misunderstanding with the players current job or just for that fact that they felt like killing someone, if this rule is broken by a player as a one off they tend to be fairly apologetic and such either because it wasn't intentional or for that fact that they rather like the server and don't want to lose their place there, however if a player is repeatedly killing other players and staff in admin sits then this would be seen as Mass RDM and it is clear that the player has no intention in staying with the server and is looking to get banned. An example of RDM could be: Player X is a gangster and Player Y is a member of the police department for example civil protection. Player X would kill Player Y and that would be indeed RDM, which could simply be because of a misunderstanding with the fact that Player X assumes that as a gangster they are enemies with the police and furthermore followed this guy killing the civil protection.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
Ah yes, the New Life Rule, or NLR, can be a very aggro inducing rule break for many players. NLR means two things, one being that when the player dies in a certain area the player is not allowed to return to that area for 3 minutes, as well as that the player has to forget everything about their killer, meaning they cannot return to their killer at a later date for a 'revenge kill' which does happen a fair bit, this would also mean the player is breaking RDM so these to rules can most of the time can link into each other which can lead to two warnings in one situation however it depends how strict the member of staff dealing with that situation is. Onto the examples, Player Y is a Gun dealer and has just been raided by Player X who is a thief, Player Y dies during the raid however Player Y isn't very happy because they are about to lose their printers, so to attempt to stop this from happening Player Y returns to the scene without waiting 3 minutes and manages to kill Player X. In return Player X can be very annoyed by this and will either restart the circler, by that I mean do what Player Y did or instead call for a member of staff.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is a rule that is not so known by players, sure lots of people know about it but out of all the rules i'd say its the least known and also the least broken. It can be so easily broken even sometimes by mistake. Metagaming is where a player uses OOC (Out of Character) whilst roleplaying. This can be for example, Player Y is being raided and is requesting for help from is friend in OOC chat, this can be very frustrating for the raiders because if a location is given in OOC other forces such as the PD who are none the wise of the Metagaming can also respond to that call giving the raider a massive disadvantage and ultimately most likely causing them to fail the raid. However I don't see much metagaming now.
Explain how you would handle the following situations:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would bring the two players to a secluded spot where no other players can get involved so it would be easier to deal with. After that I would look at their jobs, for example if neither of those players were jobs that could raid or possibly a hitman, I would check the players bases for a KOS sign, if there was one I would let them both go and give them a bit of information on RDM however if there wasn't a KOS sign then player y clearly either killed player x for no reason or player x was annoying player y in someway that should have been reported to a member of staff, if this is the case player y would get a warning for RDM, if repeated more warnings would follow until they meet the threshold, I could indeed just kick them but then that wouldn't stay on record for future reference. Now if the situation was different and they were jobs that could raid then that would mean I couldn't possibly do anything without photographic evidence or a video, witnesses could be brought but would most likely be a bias opinion and therefore pointless. However if the exact same situation was to happen again I would warn player y for doing so as it is clear player y is doing it on purpose. Also I'm not sure if this server has damage logs however if I could use them I would also check who damaged who first. player y could just be a better shot
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
If player y's death was before 3 minutes it is clear that player y has committed NLR, there is no doubt about it. I would warn player y for his ignorance and explain to him exactly what NLR is and how long to wait before returning, as well as revenge killing not being permitted. As well as this I would jail him for 3 minutes just to give him a rough idea how long he should wait before returning, seems fair right? Sorry this one is a bit shorter
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
In this situation I would be reluctant to give player x a warning and here's why, Metagaming really isn't that common of a rule to break and even though its on the rules players tend to go off of their basics, which means they don't know some of the important but uncommon rules such as Metagaming, however even though that may be the case I would still give the player a warning because they should have read of the rules in the first place. I wouldn't leave it at that however I will tell him exactly what Metagaming is and make sure he reads the rules properly this time, as well as that the player would be jailed for a minute or so just so they lose their advantage over the bank.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
Well I know this wasn't a question but I was recommended here a couple of times, the first time honestly I cannot remember so I apologise for that but I thought to myself, me? Staff on Zarp? Haha no chance and I laughed it off, however I was recommended today by another member of staff called Walter White, he was very helpful in showing me where to apply and I was very grateful for his help. Now onto the actual question, I am going to be 100% here, I have not been the best behaving boy on Zarp, and I have a feeling that will let me down, I don't thing I have ever been banned or anything like that but I have had my fair share of warnings my latest one was when i threw a grenade as a citizen, i genuinely didn't mean to hurt anybody but whilst i was in the alley i threw it trying to kill myself because i knew i should have bought them however stupid me forgot grenades bounce and they injured a couple of people, i apologised to the admin that dealt with is and said i would happily repay any losses but i knew that's not the point, i shouldn't have done it in the first place, and I know it doesn't really make up for it here but I really do apologise for that, its not something I would usually do but unfortunately stupidly I ended up doing it did I? I hope you can see I have changed a fair bit with my understanding just above, and I'm really sorry each one is so long by the way, I just wanted to make the best impression. Anyway I will swear to you here, I am not being big headed, at least I hope I don't come across that way but staff wise I have a lot of experience with staff, mainly managing to be honest, its not something i'd expect to get on Zarp haha there's so much staff on Zarp I doubt there are any vacancies for me, but no even getting Moderator is an achievement for me. If you would like a list of what I've been here it is from order, I swear to you this is honest: Co-Owner, 2x Community Manager,
I have recently resigned as community manager for Freefall however, Super Admin, 2x Head Mod, which has been my longest job actually, i was Head Mod on Freefall twice but on of those times was months ago when the server was completely shut down, but on its re opening i was given back the job however as I mentioned I was promoted recently to Community Manager
but I resigned not too long ago so that I could join the Zarp community, yesterday to be exact. I have also been Admin and Mod but too many times to count, if you would like a reference members of freefall do play Zarp so feel free to ask me their names. Other than my experience I believe i have a pretty good understanding of the rules and I am quite a cool headed guy and I will put players first before RP, I promise you that.
I really appreciate you reading my App, again I am very sorry for its length :/ I just wanted to make a good impression. And if i do fail please let me know if I there is any chance that at some point I could reapply and please by all means tell me what i have done wrong so i can change it in the future.
Love That Guy (So original I know)
