Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.

RDM or Random Death Match is the act of harming another player without reason.

xXNoscopesXx finally gets the Guard job, he then proceeds to spray everyone at spawn for the lulz

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

NLR or New Life Rule is the act of remembering anything from your past life, interacting or returning to the place of your death while the timer is still active. You may return after the timer, however your memories are gone forever.

Someone raids xXNoscopesXx's base and manages to defeat the mighty noscoper, however he is not happy about that outcome and returns to his base immediately after dying, gunning down the raiders.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Metagaming is using OOC knowledge to your IC advantage.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

Considering that the logs show player Y killed X I would state that to Player X the logs say otherwise, accompanying that with a warning for RDM.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would take these two players somewhere private, then listen to each side of the story, if Player X could not provide any evidence of Y breaking NLR, I would not consider punishing player Y.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

Once Player X's raid has finished with either outcome, I would go to him and state that calling for assistance in OOC for an IC situation is Metagaming and that perhaps he should use the /pm command in the future, accompanying that with a verbal warning to help prevent further instances.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).

I believe there are multiple reasons I should be considered for the position of Moderator. Firstly I'd like to think I'm very calm and collected when it comes to being a staff member, I did it for almost 4 years over at FP and climbed the ranks, now obviously I didn't start out like that, no I too like any other human have flaws and they did show, however as I dealt with more and more players I was maturing more, improving my people skills and generally ensuring people had a good time.

Now I've moved over here to Zarp where a few of you may know me, either from FP or in game and I'm interested in joining the ranks, I'd like to think if I was accepted I could bring quite a bit of experience and knowledge to the table, giving insight and advice to whoever asked for it, as well as ensuring everyone's fun on our servers through other means than always relying on my powers like talking to the bad players and educating them, perhaps even turning them into players who decide to stick around. In conclusion, I like it here and I want to do my part to ensure the community continues to flourish.
