Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
In my time as moderator and in the way too it I got to know the community really good. I made friends (and a few ‘enemies’ ) and it was great fun! I also learned what power is and how to use it properly, I know all the commands from moderator now and I’ve been in the moderator rank for too long I think.


Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
1 I encountered a mass rdm’er as moderator and I couldn’t ban him because there were no admins online, also I couldnt jail him. So the only thing I could do was kick him. Luckily after he came back he acted more normal. Admin privileges would also help me to handle f1’s quicker and better.
2 There was a big prop on the road and the owner didnt want to delete it. So I had to kick him. If I had admin privileges I could’ve just delete the props and I wold’ve talked to the owner of the props.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hello,
I am going to train you in handling your moderator privileges. But first, congratulations on becoming a zarp staff member!.
In this training I will be tell you how to handle your new privileges. You can now: Teleport, bring people to you, handle f1’s, use the keypad checker, kick and freeze

First we will begin with the tool you are going to use the most, teleport.
Teleport can bring you to other players and through the map really fast. The command looks like this: ‘/teleport [players name]’ or if you just want to teleport use ‘/teleport’ I suggest you bind it. You do this by typing the following in console: bind b ‘say /teleport’. Now everytime you press “b” on your keyboard you will teleport to the place you are aiming at.

A tool you will need too is the freeze command. This is fairly simple to use, just type /freeze [steam id/players name] in chat. This will make the player unable to move or do another interaction. Use this when you dont want a player to run away etc.

To accept a f1, you press the f1 button on your keyboard (wich you first used to make a f1) then you right click on a f1, with the highest priority and select “handle”. With this menu you can also check the kill logs and warnings.

To kick a person you type /kick [rpname/steamname/steam ID] This will disconnect the user from the server. He can join right after being kicked.

To check keypads, for fading door abuse etc, you get the admin keypad checker tool, from your scroll menu and “shoot” it at a keypad. This will give you all the information you need to know.
I hope this is all you need to know for now. Have fun in being a moderator, you can ask things to staff by typing /// [message].

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

First, good that you found our forums, and looked around a bit. You made a template because you were banned for propspam. Trying to crash a server with propspam is unacceptable in the zarp community, I see there is proof you didnt try to crash the server wich is a good thing. I shortened your ban to 2 weeks. In this time you have the time to read the ssrp rules in-depth and can join the ssrp server again and have a new start!

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words)
In my time as moderator I learned to know a lot of new people and it was fun, everyone was nice to me. So I tried to become moderator, I got accepted on the 3th try. And now am I a succesfull moderator! I know I dont have a that amazing activity atm, but that will change from thursday 2 july. Then I will be fully active again and doing f1’s. I will get my computer on my room soon, and then I will be able to use my microphone more often and I will be able to join the teamspeak server more often. I cant wait to become a higher rank in this amazing community! I really want to become a admin and other people said I should make a application, so here it is!
