Languages I speak English + a little Spanish Explain "Random Death Match" : Random Death Match (RDM) is when a player kill's another player for no RP Reason which results in a warning. For example, Dave was walking around, when Peter decided to kill poor Dave with a spas 12 for no valid role play reason. Explain "New Life Rule": new life rule (NLR) this is when a player dies and cannot enter the area or remember what happened in their last life until 3 minutes are up and you can return to the area where you died. For example, Geramy is raiding Paul's base, Geramy has successfully killed Paul and broken into his base, but before Geramy manages to steal his stuff he returns to his base and kills Geramy so that he cannot take his belongings. Explain "Metagaming": Metagaming is when a player talks in out of character chat (OOC) in character. For example, Bill is a banker and states in OOC that his bank is being raided where as he should have used group chat. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would immediately ask for any evidence / proof, if this is presented i would state the facts then teleport them back to there original positions, after warning the player that is proven wrong. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would ask for proof or there story's if i had not learnt anything from that i would accuse a random player viewing there reaction depending on that i would decide who gets a warning. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would PM them giving them a verbal warning saying "if you carry on Meta Gaming you will be muted, if you don't understand Meta Gaming, do /motd to read the rules." if they carry on i will mute them. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I believe i should be chosen for moderator because i can't help noticing people always breaking rules before my eyes and having no way of dealing with it but calling for an F1 that sometimes takes so long that i forget what my problem was. I also believe that i can help people understand the rules rather then letting them be troubled about what they have done wrong, for example if i was a moderator dealing with an F1 rather then telling the person they have broken a rule explain to them what rule they have broken and make sure they understand, unlike most staff that tend to just tell you you have broken a rule then warn you and TP you back. A lot of the time I see people in OOC or just generally in regular chat arguing i would like to be able to stop this kind of thing rather then saying "hey guys calm down" but just being told to shut up. First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Unfortunately as more staff members voted 'no' than 'yes', the application has been denied. The meeting host has taken some criticisms made by the admins and provided you with this feedback: Recent punishments. You are welcome to apply again at any point. |
