How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3?
I'd listen to what was going on, seeing if the player being bullied said nothing rude to antagonize the player. I find that the player being bullied is being very respective, but doesn't like being bullied by this player. I'd then ask the player bullying to be stopped, if he continued to do so he'd receive a ban of 1 day from the teamspeak server, and then ask the player being bullied if he's alright, and let him know that if the player continued to harass after the ban, to let me know and he'd receive and much more timely ban.
Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used
appropriately.
Moving players - This can be executed by dragging a players user name into other channels.
Giving and taking away of server ranks - If a player has been demoted, and you're in the place of power and have approval, you can remove or in other cases, if they've been promoted and have yet to receive their rank, and higher ranks in power of that server are okay with it, you can give them the rank they've been promoted to.
Changing Descriptions - Some times players are just on to give others a bad day, or have something just a rude description, you can change the description.
Removing avatars - Avatars can either be a good, or bad thing. Removing avatars comes in handy when a player has something breaking teamspeak rules, or TOU.
Editing Channels Names - If something is wrong with a channel name, you can change it if given proper authority from a higher ranked staff member; example (Server Owner, Community Manager)
Locking Channels - Useful if you're playing a game, like counterstrike and have a full team of 5 and you dont want peopl in your team 1 or team 2 channel, you can lock it to avoid distractions.
Kick - Useful when a player is being disruptive, usually happens before you move on to harsher punishments such as a ban.
Ban - If a player is being discriminative, racist, or disruptive in any manner and you've verbally warned or kicked them, you can ban them from the teamspeak disallowing them to come back in, unless they avoid punishment and join in on a different IP which can result in harsher punishments.
Moving Channels - Don't do it, Dcx won't be happy. Pretty much well stated, you don't need to do this, it's just a feature you're given when given the Teamspeak staff rank.
Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words). - I'm one of the most active users on the teamspeak. If a player is being disruptive, or rude I report them to a teamspeak staff accordingly and they will be punished. I'm responsible, mature, and active. I'm on for around 8-16 hours a day, depending if it's summer, a school day, or the weekend. I'm very friendly, and never have received a teamspeak ban in the past 12 months. I will handle the powers maturely, and appropriately if given the rank of Teamspeak Staff. I'm friends with everyone on the teamspeak, and welcome newcomers! I'm also staff on two current servers, DarkRP and Bhop, and have handled my powers well and have never abused, and it will be the same case with teamspeak.I don't have a temper, and don't let anger or emotion cloud my judgment of a non rule abiding player.
