E.g. Bob killed Randy at spawn for no reason and Randy didn't even have a hit on him. If Randy did have a bounty on him or Bob was raiding Randy it wouldn't be classed as 'RDM' (Random Death Match). Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.: New Life Rule is NLR. NLR means when somebody has been killed and can not return to that district for 3 miniutes. It has a timer at the top of your screen. E.g. Bradley is being raided by Jimmy and Jimmy kills Bradley. Bradley can not return to his home or that entire district for 3 minutes. If Bradley does enter that district he does not want to commit any crimes as it wll lead him to more trouble. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.: Metagaming is when someone is recording, live streaming or is just talking in OOC and tells their friend or someone else to come on and help them. E.g. Joel is talking to Jamie in OOC and Joel is being mugged by Jack. Joel can not do anything because he would fail FearRP. Joel tells Jamie to come and help him and then Jamie kills Jack. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.: I would show player y and player x the logs of the 'RDM'. Then I would warn (or verbal warn depending if the player was new) player y. I would also check any other proof like screen shots to see if it was accidental. If player y was a noob I would tell him to check the rules (!motd) and warn him for 'RDM'. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.: On this one I would ask both players for proof of the scene. Because player x could have been shooting player y and player y could have killed player x. Then player x could have returned to the district and got his revenge. If there was no proof I would leave the f1 as I couldn't do anything about the situation. If there was proof I would warn player y, if player y had proof of player x breaking NLR I would warn player x. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided: If it was that the vault was being raided I would write that players are allowed to raid you. But if it was his own bank I would tp to him. If it was a police I would warn the police because bankers are legally allowed to keep printers. If it was anybody on the bad list I would say they're allowed to raid him/her and show the banker the rules. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).: You should choose me because I am fair to people and would solve people's F1's, mod on duty or not. I would not abuse my powers and be mod on duty quite often. I read the rules a lot (nearly every time I come on the servers) and know roughly all of them. I advise people to read the rules if they are new and tell someone if they are doing something wrong e.g. somebody building on the street and whilst they are not a hobo. I will allow anyone ask questions about RP related or building. I will answer and tp to people as fast as I can. I will not scam anybody because I don’t think it’s right to do so. I play ZARP a lot and go on both RP servers. I would even ask an admin if I am really stuck in a situation and I have no other solutions. And most importantly I will follow the rules as best as I can. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
Unfortunately as more staff members voted 'no' than 'yes', the application has been denied. The meeting host has taken some criticisms made by the admins and provided you with this feedback: Low game time, Needs to get the know the staff team more. You are welcome to apply again at any point. |
