I feel that the time i have had as Moderator has proven me to be trusted with powers and it has made me a loyal part of the community. I feel that after having experiencing F1's as a Moderator i feel this will help me improve and make me get through F1's faster keeping the server free of problems. I feel that after learning even more about the server than i knew before i can help even more people with their question and encounters on the server. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). There was a fairly new player to ZARP as far as i am aware learning to roleplay with some friends. I happened to read this f1 accusing the new player of breaking numerous rules such as failrp, breaking nlr, cdm'ing and rdm'ing. The F1 stated that he was rdm'd in the PD district. After checking the logs it was clear that the new player had killed him, i therefore tp'ed both of them to a rooftop with i let them both speak 1 at a time ( Which they were both happy with ). After hearing both sides of the story it was clear to me that this player was rdm'd by the new player, i then proceeded by warning him and telling him to read the rules using !motd and to have a nice day where he decided to verbally abuse me swearing at me and so on. I therefore warned him a second time for Direspect and put him on his way. He then decided that he would release his anger by rdm'ing me and then breaking nlr and therefore i took him to a roof, told him that what he was doing was completely unacceptable and that he needs to stop. He carried on spamming his mic with hurtful words when i finally warned him a third time for Rdm and Nlr when he was kicked from the server. I havn't seen him since. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Welcome, Congratulations on becoming a Moderator on ZARP. This post will give you all the basic commands and information you need to be a Moderator on ZARP SSRP. Basic Commands : /tp (playername) This command enables you to teleport a player of your choice to a given position in your line of sight. To Simply teleport yourself which you will need to do quite often during F1's just use /tp and you will teleport to where you are looking. /goto (playername) This command enables you to teleport yourself to any player on the server. You will need this command as much as you do /tp while doing F1's so that you can teleport to the player who made the f1 to ask permission to teleport them to a roof. /bring (playername) This command works a bit like the /tp command yet is a bit glitchly sometimes not working. This command enables you to bring the player of your choice to your given location. /back (playername) As you can tell from the name this command enables you not only to teleport yourself to your previous location but also another. You will usually use this command at the end of an F1's to teleport the player to their last location before you teleported them. /freeze (playername) This command enables you to freeze a chosen player for a certain amount of time from indefinitely to 1 minute. This command is helpful for stopping rdm'ers and proppushes etc. /slay (playername) This command enables you to kill the chosen player as long as you have a valid reason to do so. For example a citizen with a big gun is refusing to holster it then you can slay them to remove it from there inventory. /warn (playername) (reason) /unwarn (playername) These commands will come in extremely useful to you as your time as moderator on ZARP. This enables you to warn a specific player for a certain reason for rdm to propblock. If you accidentally warn the wrong person then you can always use the /unwarn command. The F1 system: Last but not least i will talk to you about the new F1 menu. Instead of having a screen where you can report your problems this is now where you can help people with there problems. In your first column your will find the F1's that people have made. To handle this f1 just click it and press handle, simple as that. In your second column you will find the active warnings, this is where you can see all the recent warning. This is also where you can remove warnings by finding the warning, clicking on it and press un-warn. And finally in your third column you will ind your logs. In here you can search for names of players to quick find there deaths, name changes, job changes, etc and can help you find out who rdm'd, cdm'd etc them. All the best with your new position. ~Tobiasmr12~ Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Hello (playername). Thank you for taking the time to appeal your ban. Myself and a few comrades have looked into your ban and due to this being your first ban have decided to accept your appeal. We will be keeping a close eye on you the next few weeks and if anything like this happens again then there will be a permanent ban put back in place which will not be removed. I hope you take this into consideration before re-joining the server. All the best ~Tobiasmr12~ Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). I believe that i should be promoted to admin because i am able to come on the server nearly everyday for at least 1 hour minimum. I feel that while being mod i have helped alot of people out but as an admin i feel that i could help even more people and also make my f1's alot faster due to the restriction in commands you have as mod. I feel that with new powers gained by the promotion i can handle f1's faster and be able to help and deal with more problems then currently before. I would like to thank everyone who posts on this, even if you post negatives i really do appriciate any feedback on myself or on the application. All the best ~Tobiasmr12~ |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
