Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
I feel my time as mod will contribute to me being a admin because I have learnt a lot about the different commands and as well as what to do in certain situations. I have learnt when to and when not to kick someone and I think I have done quite well as a mod.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
I was on quite early in the morning and there was a mass RDMer and he also disrespected me and loads of others. I warned him but that would only get so far so when A admin came on a gave him the screens and the players information so the situation could get dealt with properly.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
First of all congratulations on being selected to become a moderator. Before any of these commands and responsibilities become available you will needed to be trained by a SA (Super Admin) or a Head Admin.
The Warn Command:
This command allows you to warn a player who has broken one of the rules. At 3 warns the player gets auto kicked and at 4 warns the player is auto banned for 1 hour. You should use this once you have gathered enough proof and you can see clearly that they have broken a rule. Make sure to use there steamID and not there name so you don't accidentally warn the wrong person. If you want to warn someone you type /warn [SteamID]. If you warn someone and then decide that it should be changed you should type /unwarn [SteamID]. If that player has been warned by another staff member don't unwarn them without that staff members permission.
The Freeze Command:
This one is pretty self explanatory it freezes the player so they cant move or shoot. It could be used to stop a RDMer or maybe someone in your F1 keeps running away. There are 2 ways you can use this command, 1. Go to the tab menu and select the player and press freeze. 2. Type /freeze [Name] Make sure it only says the person you want to freeze will be affected.
The Kick Command:
You wont use this command very much as you will mostly use /warn as a form of punishment. Maybe if someone has clearly broken 3 rules you can kick them instead of warning them 3 times. Make sure to type a valid reason with no errors before kicking that player as it shows up on there permanent record.
Teleport, Goto and Back:
Teleport (/teleport or /teleport [Name]) is your basic command use it to get on top of rooftops to start a F1 or maybe you can see a RDMer you could freeze and then TP to him. Don't teleport a player without using /goto [PlayerName] to make sure they arnt doing anything important. If they are in the bank raid I would tell them to pm me when the bank raid is over. I strongly suggest you bind teleport. Back is used when you have teleported a user and the F1 is finished when you use this command it send them to the previous location before you teleported them. This command is /back
Unban From Job:
You can use this command if someone has been falsely demoted. I personally think this command is easier to use by using, Tab menu > Player name > Unban from job > Select a job. Dont use this one just because your friend was demoted with a valid reason.
All ZARP staff wish you the best of luck as a mod.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time to make a unban appeal I have read through your appeal and I can see that you deeply regret you mistake and I think you deserve a 2nd chance. Since you broke a major rule you will still be banned but for 2 weeks instead of perm.
ACCEPTED
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I think I should be promoted to admin because I enjoyed my time as mod and I also answered many F1's. Although I couldn't do some F1's beacuse they required admin powers like deleting a random prop in someone's base. I personally think I am trustworthy with powers. I enjoy answering F1's and being an admin will open up more opportunities to complete them. I have been an mod for 2 weeks and I know that may not be the longest amount of time but in that time I have learnt so much. I wasnt on much yesterday as I had a sports tournament taking up most of the day. Thank you for taking the time to read my app and I hope you all have a amazing day.
