In my opinion i believe that my moderator experience has been amazing and i love this community and enjoy playing it,. However now i believe that my time as a moderator has given me enough experience in all the situations i have encountered to give me the necessary knowledge needed in being an admin. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). I have encountered several situations that were beyond my control as a moderator, There was once a time that a user (X) complained that another user (Y) had been chair glitching through buildings however at the same time another user made an f1 about player X chair glitching which was an extremely confusing moment in my time being a moderator. There has also been many times where users have complained to me about propspam and i cannot do something about this. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Firstly i would like to congratulate you on becoming a moderator. Well done On becoming a moderator you will have access to many new commands to aid you in completing f1s and should be understood fully before you being to start moderating the server Here are a list of useful commands that will aid you when moderating.
/warn (Name/SteamID) (Reson)
This command warns the player targeted in the steam ID
/unwarn (Name/SteamID)
This command unwarns the targeted player from their last warning and is only used if necessary (like all commands)
/teleport (Name/SteamID)
This will teleport the targeted player to the location which you are looking at, if no player name is used then you will teleport to the cross hair location
/Goto (Name/SteamID)
This command will teleport you to the targeted steamid
/kick (Name/SteamID)
This is used to kick a player from the server and is only used for serious problems such as mass racism or prop spamming
/slay (Name/SteamID)
This will slay the player These commands can also be accessed from the tab menu after clicking on a player so you don't need to type in the steam id. I cannot wait to see you ingame and are looking forward to you becoming a staff member in the ZARP community, also as a new moderator, there is a meeting every Saturday at 7PM BST which you should attend however it is not compulsory, once you join the meeting there will be a short period of time where we discuss what will happen in the meeting for the new moderators . Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Hello Player x , Firstly i would love to thank you for appealing your ban and from what i can see you've put lots of effort into this appeal and can see you are deeply sorry for what you did and i can count on you to not do it again , due to the severity of what you did i can sadly not decrease it to a shorter amount of time than 2 weeks, i hope you understand and have fun once you get back into the game in 2 weeks Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words) I believe you should choose me to be get promoted to an admin as i believe i fit extremely well in this community and have an extremely good understanding of the Garry's mod darkrp rules.I am skilled in enforcing rules on servers and i know i am the correct applicant you should pick.I know you will not be disappointed in me if you choose me to be your next admin. I can offer to this community all of my skills and knowledge in darkrp that i have gathered throughout the years and my moderator experience i have gained in the past month. I will interact with the players in a friendly way like i have been since i joined the server and will not disrespect them. I will interact with the player in-game and on the forums and can offer my skill of being a team player and a people person and i can work extremely well in a community such as ZARP. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
