Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. "Random Death Match" also known as "RDM" is when a player kills another player without a valid reason. Scenario: In the mine there is Miners mining and a Gangster comes into the mine and RDMs the Miners and explains to the Moderator or Administrator that he was mugging the Miner. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. "New Life Rule" known as "NLR" is when someone goes back to the district they were killed in within the NLR timer Scenario: Someones base that was being raided was killed and they had lots of illegal items in their base like printers and they did not want to loose them so they came back without waiting for the 3 minute timer to save there items. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. "Metagaming" is where someone told someone information using "OOC" (Out Of Character) chat so they could use this information to find something or someone (Like bases, printers or hits) Scenario: Someone said in OOC that there was a base with lots of illegal items beside the PD and all of the officers left the PD to raid the base using that information. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player X accuses player Y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player Y killed player X. I would bring X to see what his side of the story is and if he said something like "He killed me at the bank and I died" then I would check the console log for anything that would indicate that it was RDM and then I would bring Y and ask for his side of the story and if it does check out that Y did RDM X I would warn Y for RDM. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player X accuses player Y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would bring X to see what his side of the story is and if he says something like "I was raiding his base and he came back just after I killed him" I would first ask X for proof to see if that happened and if he did not have any proof I would bring Y to see if I could do anything about it and if Y says he done it, I would give him a warning for NLR but if he says that is not what happend I would look at the console log as best as I can to see if I can tell if he is telling the truth or not and if I cannot find anything to get him with I would let them go and if I did find something as the lines have a very little time gap I would warn Y for breaking NLR. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player X calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would tell him that there are two chats, there is "OOC" which is "Out Of Character" and I would tell him there is "IC" chat which is "In-Character" and I would tell him that "OOC" is for talking about things that are not "In-Character" and just casual talk while "IC" chat is Advertising and directly talking to people so I would tell him that it is for gang meetings or business and a few other things and if X does it again after that I would give him a warning. Why I should be chosen (longer answer expected here - at least 150 words). I would love to be chosen as a Moderator because of the countless days and nights I see people in need of help from people RDMing, NLRing and PropAbusing because in some time zones there are no Administrators or Moderators available for those certain times and the server becomes total chaos but, if I were Moderator I could help these people from all of these rule breakers, and I have been in situations where I witness rules being broken and I cannot help with the F1 as I have no say in it. I would love to make the server clean of these people and making a great place to Role Play and have fun because I dislike people that do these things to a good server, also because I love this server and I love to help people out when it comes to things like this and I think I would be a great Moderator on this server as I have been staff on many servers before in my 1,659 hours of Garry's mod. That is why I think I should be chosen for Moderator on this server. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Jayo |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
