Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.

I feel that during the month that I have been a moderator, I have had a very good taste of what being a staff member entails. I have been able to interact with a lot of different people and I have had the opportunity to solve their F1's.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).

Whilst being a moderator, I encountered a situation where Player X reported Player Y for RDM, so I checked the logs to see that Player Y did in fact kill player X, but when I asked player Y the reason for killing Player X, he said that Player X attacked him first. This is a hard situation because there are no damage logs, so without a screenshot or video evidence it is hard to determine if the kill was random. None of the players had evidence so I couldn't issue a warning but I advised the players to try and record evidence in the future.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?

Here are the basic commands that allow you to deal with F1s:

/goto <name> - This command takes you to the players name that you have entered, in order to speak to them regarding an f1 etc.
/tp <name> - This teleports yourself to wherever you are aiming with the crosshairs on your screen. (it is useful to bind this to a key in console using bind <key> "say /tp")
/bring <name> - This command brings the targeted player to yourself, normally used to bring the player to a secluded area, to speak to them about an admin matter.
/freeze <name> - This command freezes the player and stops them from running away from the situation.
/warn <name> - This command gives the targeted player a 'warning', the warning system works by players being automatically kicked if they have been warned 3 times in one day. If they come back and are warned again after their 3rd warning, they will be banned for 1 hour.
/back <name> - This command takes the targeted player back to their previous location they were in before you teleported them.
If you use 'F6' you are able to check a certain player's warnings/bans.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would take into consideration that they have taken the time out of their day to create an account and an unban appeal on the forums and obviously value their place here on ZARP. I would respond to the unban appeal by accepting it and giving the player a second chance.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I think I should be promoted because I believe that I have shown all the attributes of a potential administrator in my time as a moderator and I have had previous experience of being an admin on other servers so I am aware of the majority of the commands and responsibilities. I have already attended one of the meetings on TeamSpeak, where I had the opportunity to vote and voice my opinion. I am active on both servers and I have had the chance to meet new people every day and make some great friends.

Please consider me for Admin as I love Zarp and thoroughly enjoy being a part of the community.

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.

As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted..

Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training..

You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily.
