Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
I have had a lot fun and a great experience as a moderator. I have learnt how to handle certain situation like F1’s in calm and a friendly situation. I have enjoyed helping people out as I walk past them and I have also enjoying handling F1. I have helped the community with being a moderator by doing a lot of F1’s and also I have been an active member and been a lot recently on Zarp and I think I have helped the community out by doing this.

Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
One of the obstacles that I have had encountered as a moderator is when a player keeps breaking the rules by RDMing and breaking NLR and other rules. But as soon as I TP the player he/she just leaves the server straight away. But at the time there is no admins on to try to sort the matter out. But later on when there is an Admin on the server, I passed the information of the player onto the admin that was on so that he could try to sort the problem out.

If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hey congratulations on becoming a moderator on Zarp. So today I am going to be training and showing you the things that you are going to need in order to be a moderator like commands and other things. As a moderator you should just abuse your powers only use them when needed.

/warn
This command allows you to warn him/her if they have broken a rule. To warn a person you type /warn <SteanID> <Reason>. To find someone’s ID you hold TAB then click on his/her name and you will see the seam id there. If someone gets warned 3 times they will get auto kicked and if he /she get a fourth warning they will get banned for an hour.

/slay
The /slay command is used when to kill someone. To use this you type /slay <PLAYERS NAME>

Kick
This command is used to kick a player from the server. Personally the best way to use this is if you press TAB, and then go to the person’s name and it should be the first thing on player options. Use this to not make any mistakes.

/tp
This command is used to Teleport you or someone else to a certain area or spot. To tp yourself you type /tp , and to tp someone else you type /tp <PLAYERS NAME>.

/BACK
This command is used to tp a player back to their last location that they were at. You use this command by typing /back <PLAYERS NAME> or you can press TAB, player name and on player options at the end it says back. Click that and choose last location.

/Goto
This command is used a lot to goto a certain player (Mainly used in F1’s). You use this by typing /goto <PLAYERS NAME>.

/freeze
The freeze command is used to freeze a play that is running away. It freezes them in their exact position. To use this you type /freeze <player name/Steam ID>. Mainly used in F1's

F1 Menu
This is the Menu that you are going to use the most as a moderator. To open this Menu you just press F1. First on the menu you will see three tabs at the top. The first one is the F1’s that other players have made, two are the warning that player have gotten by an admin/moderator also it will show the reason for their warnings and third is the logs. In the logs it shows you all things like who has been killed, arrested and all types of things.

F6 Menu
You are not going to use the F6 a lot but the F6 menu is where you can see all the warnings, bans and other punishments for a certain player. To open this you press F6. Currently this is glitched on server 1 for moderators but you can use this on server 2.

Keypad checker
This shows you if a fading door is keypad is setup correctly and working properly. You will spawn with this tool on the 6 tab. When you have it in your hand you just shoot it at the keypad and there will be a line going toward the door and it will display all the information about these two things.

Mod on duty job
This job is only to be used when you are going to be sorting out F1’s and sorting out other things. To get this you just press
F4, jobs and at the bottom it says “Mod on duty”. This job means that you are out of RP so nobody can arrest, kill and mug you. But this means that you can’t do the same back.

TAB
You can use nearly all the command by using the TAB menu. Hold TAB, click on players name, and at the bottom you see buttons, if you click these you can do most of the commands there.

Unban from job
This is used to unban someone from a job. So if someone false demotes a player it is used to unban them from the job. You can use this from holding TAB then clicking their name and clicking unban form job buttons

Admin chat
The admin chat is used just like the normal chat but istead it used to ask questions and other things just for admins and moderator. To use this you just type /// <Message>.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hi X I have read through your ban appeal and it shows that you are really sorry towards what you have done and why you shouldn’t have done this. Your ban appeal also shows that you have put in good effort towards writing this and it show the mistake you made. Now that I can see that you are sorry, I am going to reduce your ban to 2 weeks because you still broke a rule and I can’t just let you off. So I hope to see you on Zarp soon.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
The reason why I think that I should be promoted to admin is because I have enjoyed my time as a moderator, it has been fun and I have learnt a lot from it and now I think that I am ready to be an admin. I had handled a lot of F1’s and I have helped people out with their problems and situations. I think that I being promoted it would help me handle situations that are harder for a moderator to handle and sort out. So if a player prop blocks an area and he won’t remove the prop, so it would be easier to handle as an admin. Also I could just generally handle situation a lot quicker.

Again, please tell me that this is for next weeks meeting, at the time this has been posted, the meeting is currently 2 hrs in, so roughly near the end im guessing. First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.

As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted..

Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training..
