Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command.
Player A is being a real salty character, deciding he's had enough of being innocent and wants to kill some folks so he pulls out his shotty and performs mass RDM. He has a giggle to himself when the reports come in and decides he can't be bothered responding to them so he leaves. This is 'RDM + Leave' and from what I've witnessed in-game, the standard ban duration for this is in the range of 3-7 days depending on severity.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Since it is their first ban, I'd either reduce the term of the ban or lift it, depending on what they did and what was said in the appeal. From other appeals, I've witnessed ban terms being reduced to 1 week for more serious cases, bans being lifted at the time where they're at the lesser side of the scale. Personally, in this situation, where they've gone into great detail and apologized, I would lift the ban at the time and remind them to be a good boy/girl in the future.

Why I should be promoted:
I've been playing with Zarp since January 7th 2015, racking up 156 hours (6.5 days holy hell) on the server and I've been a moderator since the 2nd of March. I average about 2-3 hours a day, usually. I take reports whenever I can and I like to think I handle them well. I regularly contact admins on Steam with ban requests with proof and I get on well with everyone in the community. There have been many times where I'm the only member of staff online and someone RDMs and leaves and instead of contacting an admin, I'd like to be able to handle such situations without bothering the many staff that are hell-bent on playing CS:GO .

Application looks good.

Does a lot of reports.

Informs admins if someone needs to be banned.

Activity is good.

Knows how to handle a situation.

I think you're ready to be promoted to admin.
