Estimated Server Time: Approximately 120 hours by the time this application will be read. + 30 hours from hacked account Languages I speak: Russian,English and French Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin. Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] From my current experience on the server i have encountered a lot of rule breakers who have gone unpunished, this was my original strive to become a moderator. Upon becoming one i have truly understood that it is not as easy as i thought it would be and that has allowed to learn a lot about myself in how i communicate with people and a lot about others. You can encounter players who are stubborn, angry, rude, polite, accepting of their mistake, striving to change and those who wish everyone malice. Of course these are just some types of players and you cannot classify each player under a certain characteristic. So my moderator experience allowed me to see that proof is always necessary for an F1 and there is no need to be angry at staff for not punishing the person who broke the rules. So as admin i would now have much better insight on how to be a good staff member. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] I can bring up multiple examples for this case but i will primary focus on one incident that i will not forget. This occurred during my second day as moderator and i will still adjusting to the flood of F1's that were occurring constantly. For the case of anonymity the two people involved will be Mr.X and Mr.Y. I decided to handle the F1 from Mr.X claiming that Mr.Y had broken NLR and proceeded to RDM him as well. As I confirmed with both players if it was OK for me to teleport them onto the roof of the valiant hospital. As both players appeared none had any proof whatsoever to punish their peer, so after agreeing with both of them that nothing could be done about this issue i returned them to their last location and let them pursue their roleplay. Then i got another F1 from Mr.X about the same issue, this time he had proof but it was simply a picture of the wall, as i once again could do nothing about the issue due to my regulations both players began to slander the other one. One even attempted to bribe me to warn/kick the other one to make them loose their printers. I was amazed by their behavior since i never such things occurring as a player. This is just one of the occasions that i have witnessed there were many more and hopefully many more to come which i will solve. If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Here it goes, this is my training guide for all new moderators that have just been accepted for their position. First off I would like to congratulate you but do not take this as an ease off because you will have to be constantly concentrated and prepared for all kinds of sticky situations. Obviously you have all the needed characteristics and skills to be moderator is what we call ''mod material''. As a moderator you have a plethora of commands for which you must learn the correct use. Not to abuse or under-use. All these commands will be accesible by clicking a players name in TAB if you do not wish to type them out in chat, and some can be bound to your keys through the console. For example as I have done with my teleport to easily get to roofs. Let us begin, you will be testing all these commands on me not to interrupt anyone else on the server. First you have /Freeze [Name] - This will freeze a player for an indefinite period of time and not allow them to conduct any actions except for typing. /Freeze [Name] [Seconds] - Same as the previous but with a defined time period for precise punishments. /Kick [Name] [Reason] - Only use this in important situations, such as someone prop-spamming the server which is causing lag. Kick the player from the server. /Warn [Name] [Reason] - Use this command on a player who breaks a rule, once they reach 3 punishments they are kicked from the server and 4 warnings conducts an automated temporary-ban from the server. The warnings will be recorded in the F1 logs and can be taken back through that menu if it is required. /Unfreeze [Name] - Self explanatory does the exact opposite to freeze. /Slay [NAME] - normal, silent, explosive, rocket - Kills the player. /Teleport [Name] - Teleports the desired player to the location you are looking at. /Goto [ Name] - Takes you to the desired player. /Back [ Name] - Teleports the desired player to their previous location. /Bring [Name] - Brings a player to you. /Unban job - This is to be used when someone is falsely demoted from their job. As staff you also have access to the admin chat which is accessed by adding a @ in front of your message. This allows simply and easy communication between staff and allows issues to be handled much more swiftly and easily. There are two menus available to staff. The first one is the F1 menu, here you will see a different menu to what it previously was, instead you will now see the F1, who it was requested by it's priority and the reason. You should always the F1, with the highest priority out of common etiquette to the players. Upon right clicking on the F1 a variety of options will come up: Which will allow you to accept the F1, bring the player to you and go to the player. There is mark as finished which you use once the F1 has been completed. Then in the F1 menu you have the logs in which you can monitor who a player has killed, has been killed by, the time all of this occurred at, when he switched his jobs. This allows you to easily track down NLR and RDM. Then you have the F6 menu which allows you to check all of the players past and present punishment's by using their steamid. This sums up my introduction for moderator into the world of ZARP. Good Luck. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] First of all i would analyse all of the proof submitted by the player and see his past warnings and monitor his previous behavior. If everything checks out and this person had good records of previous behavior and he truthfully did not mean to crash the server and i manage to pin point that in his appeal everything is the truth. My humane side will merge with my admin side and i will alleviate his punishment to 7 days. He still has his punishment and he will be able to return to the community. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] I think that i would be a very efficient Admin, since i am very responsive towards the player and i am always glad to help out players in need. I know how to control the crowd and manage sticky situations. I have acquired a lot of experience from my time as a moderator and as a player. Overall i think during my time on the server i have become much more mature and responsible and i think i will be able to carry the weight of being an Admin. I have made many new friends on the server and would like to contribute even more to this phenomenal community. More powers will allow me to handle problems in a much more professional manners and assist in more F1's that require admin aid specifically.I hope you consider my noble soul for Admin. Have a brilliant day. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team.
