TOPIC: [SSRP] Banker's 7th Application

Hello, I just wanted to get some things out of the way before you read on. I have stopped applying the last 2 weeks for this server to take time to rebuild up my image in the community (which went to shit last week, as I am sure you all have read my "Denied..." post). Anyways, I have also gotten some criticism about my application being "childish" and "stupid", so because of those, I have taken the time to rewrite parts of my application to make them more enjoyable. I hope you will take the time to read on, and here goes nothing.

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Explanation: Random Death Match or "RDM" is when a player, for no apparent reason, kills another player.

Scenario: Trey walks up to Pavlov with a shotgun and kills with with no valid role play reason in effect.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
Explanation: The New Life Rule "NLR" is when a player is killed, s/he is supposed to forget everything in his past life, and can not go back to the location of his/her death for 3 minutes.

Scenario: Billy mugs Sheldon demanding money but Billy does not receive the money so he kills Sheldon. Sheldon runs back to where he died and kills Billy.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Explanation: Metagaming is when someone uses out of character chat for role play reasons.

Scenario: Jackie is getting raided, so she calls for her gang members in out of character.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

I would go and talk to player x and ask him what happened, and after I get his story I would go to player y talk to him and get his side of the story. I would ask if there were any players that have proof of the RDM. After I get everyones story that player y truly RDMed him I would give him a warning and move on.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would ask both of the players for their side of the story, and if both are diffrent I would ask for proof. If player x has proof I would warn player y and explain to him the NLR districts, and that there is a timer on the top of his screen. I would then move on with my life.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would bring player x to a safe area and explain to him/her the rules regarding metagaming. I would then proceed to warn player x, and then I would move on with my life.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).

ZARP was the first DarkRP sever I went on and I have kept on playing ever since. I believe that I am nice and fair and I love to get along with everyone. I have befriended many people on both severs including mods, admins and I believe some super admins. I think I would suit this job very well as I am on so much and I am always willing to help any player in need. I dislike it when I see players rdm and break nlr. I always wish I could just do something about it and with mod I can. I can also help new players to avoid going through the minge stage and make them good players and help the other mods and admins with the f1's. I believe people will back me up that I am a good person and will be fair, as I have a passion to be nice and helpfull.

Everything in your application looks to be correct , but from what I've heard you're alot different in game .
You have trolled in TS before and correct me if i'm wrong you've been banned from the forums recently which kind of shows your maturity .
I'm not going to give a +/- Support but i'm going to say , you need to be more mature on ALL zarp servers .

You are 100% correct, and I respect your opinion.

Just to clear the air, I was forum banned for having a large signature.

I will work to improve the points you have mentioned.

This is your 8th application. Not your 7th.

Its not very usefull to make an application every 1 or 2 weeks. Instead wait 1 month so it doesn't look like you're power hungy. Which it currently does.

What i've seen on SSRP you're different then what you're writing here, you tend to freak out over small things in OOC.

In your last SSRP application you were not taking criticism on board and acting very immature. As I said in your bhop application, Ranks do not get handed to you on a silver platter you have to earn them. Your attitude towards peoples feedback is not at all good. It does seem like you are power hungry. As JerredInator said, you do freak out about very minor thing and to be a moderator you need to take criticism on board and let the hate flow right past you. Being staff on any sever will mean some players will hate you as you dish out punishments. If you can't handle a little bit of criticism then I don't know how your going to survive as a moderator.

If you need 7 or 8 applications, and the need to prove your maturity. You do not deserve the ability to hold power on the servers. As others have said, including yourself, take a few weeks, lay low and enjoy the game. Wait until you have no new recent warnings then apply again. Good look to the future. -Support
