Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] My time as a moderator has been really good, i've gotten another view from zarp which makes it alot more fun to play. I've caught endless of rulebreakers and done my very best to make them stop break rules. I really like participating in the meetings and making my voice heard. The best time on the day is when i get to come online and people being happy for my work, saying either hi or simply asks if i want to play with them. And why i want to become an admin is simply so i can manage situations more easy and access to the ban command etc, i sometimes find it frustrating having to teleport people instead of grabbing them. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user). Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] The hardest situation i've ever had was probably when it was on the night and i were the only moderator online, a ton of F1's were made and it keept coming spawnkillers. So, one guy and his friends made an F1 about this, when i arrived there were atleast 10 people that keept spamming the mic about who did what, so i took the victim and the guy who rdmed to another location to go throught with the situation, however people keept propclimbing to get to us and trying to make it harder. I warned those people and after that they stopped, after finishing the simply F1 that had turned into something alot bigger than it was, i was happy about myself and keept doing the rest of the F1's. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello and congratulations on becoming a moderator! The first rule is to not abuse, this gets you demoted almost instantly and it will be alot harder to become a moderator again. Now to some of the commands /Tp (SteamID) - This teleports a player (Including yourself) to the location you're looking at. /back (SteamID)) This teleports a player to the last location they were at before they got teleported. /warn (SteamID)) This is the warn command you use to warn rulebreakers, use this whisley. You should warn people with thier SteamID since sometimes you can warn the wrong guy if you go with the wrong name. /kick (SteamID)) You kick the player for instance if he is AFK farming gametime for his application. Again use the SteamID mostly. /Slay (SteamID)) This slays a player when he is for instance having a big gun as a citizen which is a popular rulebreak. There are a few more commands that you can find in the scoreboard menu and then clicking someones name. But these listed are the most usefull commands and those i personally use the most. Now when you click the F1 you will see a completley new menu which shows more about what has happened. Firstly you see in the first tab all of the F1's made by the normal players, if you right click one you can handle it, you then tp to the player and help them. The next tab shows the recent warnings made by everyone, you can simply remove them by right clicking and unwarn them, however you must NOT unwarn other warnings made by not you, this is abuse and not allowed. The last tab shows the logs, when you search a name, you will see deaths, job changes, demote requests, hits and kills. When you right click you get a certain ammount of things to do with it, firstly you can copy the kill if the accused player keeps denying that he didn't do anything. The last thing is the F6 menu, here you can check warnings of all the players and help on applications. You can search with thier SteamID if they're offline. That was all and i hope you become a well trusted moderator! Good luck _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Hello there user! Thank you for making an unban appeal, i've looked into the following and seen that this happens to be your first ban. I have decided to lower your ban to 3 days and within that time i suggest that you read the rules and promise yourself that this won't happen again. If i ever catch you doing this again, i will permamently ban you so please don't do this this again. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words). Warning: Spoiler! [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] So i've been mod now and i find it so fun helping people with thier problems whenever it's a question or a rulebreak. I'm having a really good time here. Now there is a challenge sometimes being a mod. I've gotten a few problems with these rulebreakers cooperating and runing everyones fun and very often on the night and i'm the only staff member i find it quite frustrating having to write commands to bring someone that's infront of you instead of simply grabbing them. I feel sometimes i need the command ban, this can simply keep away the rulebreakers instead of warning them, why? Well simply beacuse they don't care about being warned, a ban is sometimes what stopps them. Another reason that i'm applying is that i've gotten very comfortable in these situations, the first week was very hard but after that i've managed to keep myself calm and it makes it alot easier to execute them |

English isn't my first language and my translation for minges would be rulebreakers, sorry i'll change it.
One thing i'd like to add is that i never said i could't handle those situations, i only said it would be easier, and that happens to be true since you do get more tools as an admin. You see all ranks as an accomplishment whilst i see it as a way to do your job better. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
