Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
In the most simple words, if you were to kill someone, they are not allowed to return to said location or have any interaction, if a raid is occuring, with the situation until their NLR is up.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
This means, when a player has become aware of or told about information pertaining to or directly regarding an ongoing storyline or situation and then, by means of role play, uses that information either to their own benefit or as a means to interact with/against other players. Imply, using what they learn OOC, IC. Examples are instant rescues after someone is captured, or if someone says they are going to attack someone in OOC, the person who is going to be attacked kills the person because they read that, they would have meta'd because they were not told they were going to be killed in RP. Often, no RP is involved at all. This is extremely aggravating for those of us who are trying to provide fun and possibly in-depth story lines.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would first ask the person who was killed to explain the situation, I would then bring the other person being blamed to explain why he killed the man. I will then ask if any of the people have any information regardnig the situation. If the evidence shows it is RDm, the person will be warned, and will not be warned if it is not RDM. If their is no evidence I will check if any FailRP occured and if so warn for RDm and FailRP. If there is neither of this I will make the event as finished because I cannot do anything about it.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.First I would try to calculate if the space inbetween the kills inicates NLR, if it does, I will warn for NLR. I will then ask for evidence, if some is there, I will time it, and if it is NLR, a warning will be given. If there is none, as I have no way of finding out if it is NLR, I will mark the situation as done because I cannot solve it unless it can be proven.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raidedI would tell that person to stop because that classes as metagaming, if anyone responds, they will be warned, verbally, because it classes as metagaming. I would let the raid unfold and if any other issues like NLR arise, I will do my job to try and fix that. Other than that it should be a legit raid.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).I am a frequent on the server and have been for a while. I have played on the server a bit since last year and have ammased a larger play time within the last few weeks. I love to play the server, in all aspects of RP and hope to be a moderator in order to make sure it stays that way. I know people may not have the best impression of me but I hope by becoming moderator that they will forgive me and give me the chance to prove myself as an asset to the server. Through my time on the server I have gotten used to the rules in all aspects, knowing what is right and wrong. I am also familiar with ULX meaning I already have experience of moderating from my time as a mod for the Celerium Gaming TTT server, and hopefully their DarpRP server that is in the works. I hope in all you will accept me so I can prove to be an asset to the growth of this server as I have enjoyed it enough to bring many of my friends to it. P.S. I will be buying VIP soon. So I am looking forward to investing myself in the server.
