My Admin Application
Name: Victor (In-Game Name: George Costanza) Link to Steam Profile: steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198081147974 SteamID: STEAM_0:0:60441123 Current Gametrackerprofiles: Server 1 - www.gametracker.com/player/George%20Cost.../94.23.19.200:27015/ Server 2 - www.gametracker.com/player/George%20Cost.../94.23.19.200:27025/ Age: 16 Estimated Server Time: 225 Hours Languages I speak: English, Dutch Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin: Well, as Moderator I learned alot how to deal with situations, and when I can and can not help. I enjoy helping others, so I have no problem doing F1s and helping people out when they need me. I also learned that I have to be professional in F1s and in game to gain the players respect so they will actually listen to you which helps you do F1s, you make them understand. Also I learned that proof is an important factor in F1s and they are almost crucial for the result of the F1. I learned that you have to listen to what the players you are facing have to say, both sides. Also sometimes you will have to be hard, if someone is begging you not to warn him, but he did break a rule which we can't condone, you have to warn him. Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): Well, actually a few days ago someone came to me about him getting bullied. I spoke with him about it and I asked him to gather as much proof as possible which he did, but if I was an Admin at the moment I'd said that he could continue playing and I'd spectated the players who are bullying him for hard proof. I had to contact Admins and higher Staff members and explain the whole situation to get the bully punished for his deeds. So if I was an Admin I could have cloaked and followed him or spectate him. Also, I encountered people spamming offensive textscreens and propblocks on he map which I couldn't remove myself but I had to get the rulebreaker remove it, and when he doesn't it can lead to a kick. If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp? I'll start with the commands: /tp: This command teleport you to the position of your cursor. /tp <name/steam id>: This command will teleport the player who's name/steam id is typed in to the position of your cursor. /back: This command will teleport you back to the last place you teleported. /back <name/steam id>: This command will teleport the player who's name/steam id is typed in to the last place they were teleported. /goto <name/steam id>: This command will teleport you to the player who's name/steam id is typed in. /bring <name/steam id>: This command will teleport the player who's name/steam id is typed in to you, but you shouldn't use it, because you can't teleport them back to there old position. /warn <steam id> <reason>: This command will warn the player who's steam id is typed in. You should use this command when someone broke a rule. /kick <steam id> <reason>: This command will disconnect the player who's steam id is typed in. You won't have to use this command often but it's mainly for people who are propblocking and they won't remove it. /freeze <name/steam id>: This command will freeze the player who's name/steam id is typed in. You should use this command when someone is trying to run away from you or is RDMing/RDAing. /slay <name/steam id: This will kill the player who's name/steam id is typed in. You also won't have to use this command often, but it's used in situations like a citizen with a big gun won't holster his weapon. F1 menu: If you press F1 you will see a big white tab which remains the remaining F1s including who requested it, what the reason is and what the priority is. You should do the F1s who has the highest priority so people won't have to wait too long, when you right click on the one of the F1s you can choose: Handle this, and that will make you handle the F1, when you right click on it agian you will see that you can choose from, bring and goto, you should use goto, because you don't know if people are busy (if they are getting raided or something). Also you can find the logs tab in the F1 menu, here you can see things such as, demotes, kills, warrants, arrests, hits, disconnects and job changing. (You will see the name of the player who did and the name of the player who he did it to aswell). And you can see all the warnings of the day, with the staff members who warned them and the reasons, in the warnings tab. F6 Menu: With the F6 menu you can see all the punishments someone got if, you can choose from the people who are currently online but you can also search people with there steam id's when they are not online. F1 situation: -You should check the logs for who killed the person who is accusing someone is breaking rules. -You should question both players for what happend -You should ask for proof from both players -If you have lack of proof and you can't get an agreement between the players you shouldn't warn anyone. Sorry that I made it that long, not really good in shorten things up :/ Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be? I'd read the unban appeal and discuss about it with another admin, we would look if he learned his lesson and explain him that if he does something like this again a bigger punishments awaits him. Than I'd let the other admin reply on the post and tell him that the unban appeal is accepted and that I'll lower his punishment. Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words): I've been a Moderator for almost three weeks now and I think I'm doing a good job. I've been loyal to the server and I did all the F1s I could. I helped alot of players and I showed other players the rules and how to behave. I think I can contribute even more as an Admin which makes the job easyer to do. If I will become Admin I think I'll be more useful and I'll be able to catch way more rulebreakers than I can now. As Admin I could gather proof way better and so improve my F1s. I take my job very seriously and I mainly want to help the server and everyone who is involved in it. Extra Information: I like to thank you all for reading my application and I hope I'll get accepted! |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
