Age: 18 Estimated Server Time: Currently recorded: 55 hours - Before GameTracker =~100 hours Languages I speak: English Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. RDM = Random deathmatch A Random Deathmatch is a situation where a player kills another player without a valid RP reason. Scenario Player A is using the bank, player B shoots player A with a gun and kills him, for no role-play reason. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. NLR = New Life Rule When the player dies, he must adhere to the 'New Life Rule', this means the player must forget their previous life and memories, they also cannot return to the location of death for 3 minutes. Scenario Player A killed player B in a raid, player B runs back as soon as he respawns and attacks player A for raiding him. This is breaking the NLR rule. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Metagaming is using any out of character method to give other players information they otherwise not be able to obtain in game Scenario Player A is being raided, he uses the OOC chat to inform police and gang member of the raid so that they can assist him. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. I would bring the player to an area out of the way of other players, such as a roof top, I would then ask player y why he killed player x, if he says it was for an RP reason I would as player x for proof, if he has sufficient proof, I would then warn player y for RDM. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would bring the players to a rooftop, and would explain to player y that he has had a complaint about breaking NLR and tell him the logs are close, I would ask for an explanation, if they insist that they did not break NLR, there is not certain way to tell as there may not be much happening, I would ask player x for proof, If sufficient proof was provided then I would warn player y for breaking NLR, else I would have to end the F1 due to insufficient evidence and return the players back to the game. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I would inform player x that he is breaking the metagaming rule, I would tell him that this is not the way to contact players in this situation and would warn him for Metagaming. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I began playing the server some time ago in 2013 when my brother recommended it to me, I really enjoyed the server and had a lot of fun in it. A little over a year ago I applied and was accepted to become a mod, I really enjoyed being a mod as I liked to help people and help keep rulebreakers and complaints under control. Zarp is definitely my favourite server because of the large player base and well made game but with a large player base it is inevitable that there will be people who want to spoil it for others and I would like the help stop this. I work well with others and am a friendly person, I can handle complaints well and do not take sides, I believe I would be a fair and respectful moderator. Here's a link to my old App, if you are interested = zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/server-ap...on-application#31022 Thanks for taking the time to read my application, Tom. |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been Accepted.. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any Superadmin/Headadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
