Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
I feel like ive been doing alot of f1's as Moderator, and i feel like being promoted to admin will give me more motivation to help the community and the server, because i know that i have achieved something, for the work i have done, and that will make me keep doing as many f1's as possible and still have fun doing it! so far i have really enjoyed being a staff member, and i am very thankful for it, and i wanna proof that i will keep going!
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
I actually tried this today! there was two very stubborn guys who was killing each other, and have been for a while, and neither of them wanted to get a warning. so they kept giving reasons for killing each other, for such a long time that i decided that this is not gonna go any further, and i took a chance, and made the decision based on what i felt was right!
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
First of, i will start by saying welcome, and hope you are gonna have a good time as a staff member on Zarp, i am gonna introduce you to the commands, that Moderators have,
/warn: this is for warning people who have broke a rule, and dosent deserve a ban or a kick. but 3 Warnings will result in the player being kicked, and 4 warnings will result in the player getting a temporary ban of 1 hour
/kick: is simply just for kicking players from the server.
/slay: slay is for killing the player, i havent personally found that needed at any point
/tp: is for teleporting players to where your aim is placed
/goto: goto is simply for you to teleport to other players
/back: is for teleporting players back, to where they were last killed, or teleported to
/backspawn: is for teleporting players to spawn
F1: F1, is a menu you got as a staff member. First tab is showing the F1's that is active right now (both being handled, and not handled). Second tab, is for all the recent warnings that staff members have been giving players. Third tab is called logs, that is where you see, deaths (reason to the death) Kills (who they killed, and what they killed them with) Job changes(who changed job. and what they changed job to, and also their previous job) and Demotions (who demoted who, and reason)
F6: F6 is where you see all the warnings for the players. (name and steamID requierd)
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
My response: Hi X, reading through your appeal. I see that you put alot of your time into it. And it seems like you really are sorry for what you have done, and i do think that everybody deserves a second chance, so instead of you having a permanent ban, i will make it 2 weeks. Because you broke the rules, and you deserve to be punished for it, i hope you understand, and i also hope you are okay, with still having 2 weeks of ban from the server. Hope to see you on, when the ban expires, with a good attitude, and no more rule breaking.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I think i should be promoted because i work hard, to make the server and community a better place atleast in my opinion, and i have a feeling that most other staff mebers, likes me, and i like them! and i feel like i make a good team with most other staff members, and i am always ready to help both staff members and players. I am always going into any situation with a positive attitude, and a smile, hoping it will make other players happy, and make their experience on Zarp even better!
