Languages I speak: My first language is English, unfortunately I cannot speak any other language as much as i'd like too. How would you deal with someone who is being bullied on TS3? I'd move myself and the person which made the report to a spacer and ask him what his side of the story is. Once the situation has been explained to me i'd move the person which has been reported to a separate spacer and ask him what's been going on before moving them both into the same spacer. Once I have an idea of the situation i'd then move them both into the same spacer if the person which reported the other person feels comfortable speaking with him. Once I got the evidence I need i'd then take appropriate action. Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately. 1. Moving users to/from channels/spacers. 2. Access to join spacers/channels which have passwords on them. 3. Change users channel permissions. 4. Edit/create channels. 5. Mute/grant talk power to users aswell as myself. 6. Give users server groups and myself. 7. Review reports. 8. Ban/Unban/Kick users. 9. Access to use the server chat. These powers must ONLY be used in appropriate situations. Server groups would only be granted to users which have applied for a server and have been accepted. I'd only ban a user only if I had the evidence which I need. I'd only mute a user if they've been spamming their microphone or if i'm dealing with a situation and they're interrupting whilst i'm trying to explain something to them. I'd review reports ASAP, no waiting about. I'd only edit/create a channel if a higher TS3 staff member has asked me too. Channel permissions would only be granted to users if a higher TS3 staff member has asked me too. I'd only use the server chat at appropriate times. Why I should be chosen? (we recommend around 50 words). I should be chosen to become a TS3 staff since i'm a mature and understanding person. I enjoy dealing with situations and making sure they've been dealt with the right way. I'd say i'm great with people and sometimes that can be an issue with some staff. (Not from ZARP). If anyone has to be punished i'd make sure they've been punished in the right way and for the right amount of time. I have a skill which could help make me better as a staff member and that is co-operating with others. I work well as a team and independently so I don't have to go and find another staff member for assistance, I can get the job done by myself but I do like working with others so it's not a problem for me. I have encountered a few people not following the TS3 TOU which I have not been able to deal with the situation as much as i'd like to. Thank you for reading my application, Cody. |
