Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match (RDM) applies when someone has killed a player without a justified reason. For example if a gangster had killed a citizen for no reason and the gangster would be RDMing
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
The New Life Rule (NLR) is when anyone has been killed, no matter how they died or what with, that player is unable to return to the same district they were killed in for 3 minutes. An example would be if a thief is raiding a drug dealers base and the drug dealer kills him. The thief is unable to enter that district for another three minutes and is unable to raid for 10 minutes.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is when someone is talking in OOC about something that is relevent to the roleplay, for example: meeting up or selling products.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would start by asking player x his side of the story and then I would ask player y of his story. If player y would admit to it then I would give a warning to player y. If there was an actual reason why player y had killed player x, then I would ask for proof from player x if he denied what was said. If there was no proof shown then I would cancel the F1.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would ask both players their side of the story. I would then check the logs and see the time difference that player y was killed and see if player y was killed again or had killed player x, if it shows that he had broke NLR, I Would ask them both what had happened. If their stories do not match then I would ask why he had died twice around the same time. If player y keeps repeating him self, saying that he didn't break NLR, then I would ask for proof. If no evidence is presented then I would have to cancel the F1. If the evidence presented does prove that player y had broken NLR, then I would warn player Y.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would tell him that it is metagaming and that he should PM the person who he wants help from or use /g chat.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I have played on both servers quite a lot and I have had moderator experience from being moderators on other servers. I do understand how people become annoyed and angry at other people but I always try to calm them down and listen to their story, even when I'm on the server as a citizen, people do tend to come out with a lot of abuse to other people over the OOC, which I do respond and tell them that it is unnecessary and try and retain them from being so argumentative by saying that nothing will be resolved and it is pointless. I do have quite a lot of activity on the server, probably on average around 3 hours per day. Obviously I am quite old compared to other moderators, but with age comes maturity and I always try to be mature with my actions and responses.
