It seems to keep occuring, which is weird, I even tried connecting my user to my gametracker profile, even weirder that it keeps occuring now. Around 20-50 hours a week, depending on homework, school projects, girlfriend and other hobbies I have. I've been mostly playing with my friend on here, he'll be able to say good for this, also you can check, it says I'm online and still 0 minutes played... (Been working on app for some time, I feel no reason to delete above, just now I know why it reset my whole stats, and also why it keeps resetting my ingame time, I will be trying to solve this in the future, however I can't solve the date that gametracker says I first was seen, since that's when I started using my main name on my main account. I also saw that my other aliases all have 0 game time, due to the fact that I never leave gmod, I only exit gmod when I crash, so gametracker doesn't save gametime while that happens.) EDIT: The above was not the reason, even though I disconnect or quit regularly, it still resets, I'm working on a solution and hope to see it fixed sometime in the near future! Age: 16 Turning 17 27. March 2015 I am From: I'm from Denmark, the quiet little island named 'Bornholm'. Time spent with Zarp Gaming?: Since 28-11-2014 Which Languages do I speak: I speak English, Swedish, Norwegian, a bit Deutsch and then my motherlanguage Danish. Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Quick Explanation [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Quick Explanation: Means randomly kiling someone or some people without incentive/Reason obtained ingame. Or maybe a foulty kill done while roleplaying, example being mugged, you draw your gun and shoot him, that's also FailRP and people tend to shout "RDM!". Example of Scenario [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Example of Scenario: Random Death Match, player x goes on a complete kililng spree ingame with no intentions and without really having reasons to kill. You can't just go on random massacres, that's not what people do irl either. I guess if it was a student that went on a school massacre it would be ok. But no such thing exists on the server, so that's not for real. With no further incentive I'd be freezing the poor guy and ask him his reasons, and then I'd explain to him that you can't just kill people without actual role play reasons, for an example threatening or harrassment ingame would be reason enough to stand up and take a stand, but that's not what he did. I'd tell him to read the rules, and come tell me when he'd like to be unfrozen and whether he would still play on the server or not. (I would always check warnings, and if it wasn't first time I'd just instantaneously ban him and warn him.) Of course I'd keep an eye on him and take precaution it wouldn't occur again with the sameguy. Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario. Quick Explanation [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Quick Explanation: New Life Rule means that you have to forget everything and start a new life when you die. Based on buddhists belief on a new life, they don't remember their previous lives. (You also cannot return to whatever you were doing for a set amount of time.) When 3 minutes are over, you can return to the place you were before. Example of Scenario [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Example of Scenario: Let's say that player x dies during a raid in one of the four districts, for an example it's district 1. Player x and his friends are raiding, a couple of four guys raiding some innocent little gangster. Now, player x returns during the raid first because his friends didn't die. Now, the friends die and he dies, so that's when he isn't allowed to come back and keep raiding. But he does. So I stop him, and explain that he can only keep raiding if his group is alive, if they all die, he cannot raid the same guy for another ten minutes. I also give him quick info about regular NLR, which is if he for example dies on the street, let's say his exchanging shots with another gangster, now he dies, and he goes back to start exchanging more shots in the same district. I tell him he cannot go back to the same district inside the interval of 3 minutes, because when he dies he forgets everything, he forgets hatred and revenge, he forgets love and life, he has no memories of who he was and what he have done or achieved in his 'earlier' life. I won't explain this to him if he has done it multiple times, which his warnings will indicate, so if he has done this multiple times, and just is some grisk little kid, I'll just give him a warning and possibly a bigger infraction like a kick or a small ban depending on similiar warning reasons. Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Quick Explanation [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Quick Explanation: Metagaming is when you use information you've recieved elsewhere than inside the game while observing or speaking in-game with others. Example of Scenario [ Click to expand ][ Click to hide ] Example of Scenario: Well, for an example let's say that player x in Out of Character chat writes where player y is, and that he is money printing, now if the CP where to go and raid player y with the reason of being in possesion of a money printer, it would be metagaming, since you can't use information that you haven't gained ingame to roleplay with. So I would take the CP and speak to him, and I would also take player x and speak to him, and warn them both, first verbally, and of course if it had happened before and they had been warned before, I'd take stricter measures. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. Well, I goto player x first to hear out his story, and notifies player y that it's a sit and why he's 'there' or rather 'here'. After listening to the story from player x, I know that player y will have been speaking inbetween trying to confuse or simply just speak out of regret. However since I already have proof and know that player y killed player x, I can't be too sure that he Rdm'd player x, so I listen to player y's side of the story, if they come to an agreement of the story, I will with the right knowledge, deem player y either guilty or not guilty. Then afterwards, if it was player y's first or second time, I'd give him a verbal warning indicating that it should not happen again, and that the consequences would grow potentially bigger for each time he goes against the rules. Now of course considering his warnings indicates that he's done it before, I'll kick/ban depending on the amount of warnings he already has recieved. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I ask them both for their stories, always starting with the guy initiating the 'sit'. Since I'm already aware of the console kills, I check if the second guy died and they might have interferred at the spawn. Indicating that this didn't happen, I'd go on and hear the stories out, tell player y about NLR and how it functions on this server. I always start by background checking them (Warnings etc.) to see if it keeps occuring, and then I'd take action from there on. Explain how you would handle the following situation: Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided I tell him that interfering with a legal raid through OOC would be metagaming, and that he shouldn't ask for help from anyone, not even CP, in OOC. Because OOC stands for Out of Character, and if the CP had acted, it would have been metagaming and they would have been involved in breaking the rules. Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I should be chosen because of my experience on other big servers and because of my qualifications. I have been on many servers, and I've been managing servers before, unlike others I know the exact foundation of a good playerbase. If anyone remembers TPS or LPS, those were to of the most played servers ranked 2# and 4#. I got tired of the head admins tyrrani on TPS, and LPS, well the owner did some regretful things and the community died. However it's not the same on Zarp, I see a great future and I see lot of fun. I'm a bit of a buys little boy, but I still have time to write such a long application. Everything I do, I try to do it with 1. A bit of style. 2. Quality before quantity. 3. I comprehend what I'm actually saying myself. So, I'm a bit tired, but I still keep writing. (Can get sleazy.) So, what I was writing was that I have experience, I hold knowledge, simply I hold the key to good management of users. Justification is simple and should be done with expertise, not people who wants to hold a rank to get more popular, which is what most people want, they want to be popular and be above others. I'm not one of those. I actually know what the heck I'm supposed to do with whatever title I'm holding, I know whilst I'm doing some things, I might get bad reputation, but I won't care for their opinion about me, as long as I have done what shall be done, it's what matters. I'm a nice guy, I can be fun at times, of course inside the red lines. I have experience with coding, I've played around, done my time with more than a few roleplaying games. Such as Flyff, Habbo RP/Habbo, WoW, Metin 2, Luna Online, Minecraft, Runescape & GunZ, I know these are mostly MMoRPGs, however events inside many of these games, whilst on private servers the events are fun and centered on small roles. A succesful event on a private server is a great community with a lot of sense for roleplaying. I'm willing to show old applications, we're speaking year old application, there is a lot of information about me personally, that can help you identify me as a person. I'm sorry if this paragraph is a bit off, I'm trying to also teach you who I am personally, just a bit hard inside the space of the question that is asked for title of the paragraph. My name is actually Mathias, I've been playing Gmod for quite a while, 2015, must have been 4 years around now. I only have 1300 game hours due to the fact that I actually stopped playing, and I've been more or less on/off while TPS broke up, and LPS, then TPS stupid merge, then LPS stupid new update, then TPS shut down, then LPS merged and became crap. So yeah, I've been stopping and starting with gmod a lot, due to the fact that my main community suddenly split up, and such. Well, I for sure have managing experience, I've managed succesful servers with following gamemodes: Stranded, DarkRP, Perp & TTT. Rest of my tries to start up a project or be leading staff on any other gamemode, have failed. I've been doing stuff like this since as long as I can remember. And that's not even a joke, Since CS 1.6 and Condition Zero I've been having fun with Lan Parties, local hosting for fun, and had a nice CS 1.6 surf server. Man, people loved those back in the days. Well, new times, and gmod is more fun nowadays than CS and CS:S. I remember back in the days with CS:S, all the chaos, so many kids. Really taught me how to handle stress and annoying people. Had a WCS server once, holy shit I tell you, coding was easy, being online on the server was like, 10 minutes gameplay, 400 minutes of ingame actual kids crying, kicking, gagging, banning. CS:S is simple to manage, and yet they took up so much of my time. Happily with GMOD, sits are easy, you just need to know in what sequence to ask the right things, and how to use various commands. I already know and understand your system for handling 'F1s". It's not like the normal ULX, but it has more system in it, and it's really nicely structured. I think that I can help out on Zarp, and that's why you should chose me. Sadly I am not really sure whether you would even accept me or not. I only now use my main account and only one name. And gametracker fucking with me, well, just not my time I guess. But still, I'll be helping out if you want me. I'm not in a hurry, I don't mind waiting a few weeks for an answer, at least till' Gametracker stops resetting my gametime every ten minutes. Thanks for reading my Moderator Application |

First off your gametime is very low as well as your activity. I am not sure what that is about but if you have used other names make sure to link them to your central account. You application looks well thought out and put together.

All time stats: 12 minutes Current stats: 369 minutes, no clue why it does it. But thank you for your feedback. |

Sorry for the lame bump, just want to say this since it's relevant to my application, seems like gametracker might have stopped resetting my gametime, so I can start stacking it again, though I'm sad that I have played for so long and all my hours are gone. I want you to consider this, and if you think this is of such big importance in tomorrows meeting, please delay this application to next meeting or any of the following meetings the coming month. I'm going to start building up gametime, but since I can only start now, it's a bit late for me to get up enough hours for tomorrow to convince you of my activity.
Anyway, once again thanks to everyone who reads my application, I'm open to feedback, and if you don't feel like writting a post, then please at least pm, sorry for the inconvenience of this. Edit: Nvm, Gametracker hates on me, just going to not rely on it in this matter. I guess you have to base my activity on sightseeings... |

First and foremost, we'd like to thank you for making the effort to apply for a rank on the ZARP Semi Serious DarkRP. Your application has been discussed at an administrative meeting, and from there it has been voted on.
As the number of 'yes' votes exceeded the number of 'no' votes you received, you have been accepted. Towards the bottom there is a button leading you to a download of a 'welcome pack' (moreso intended for new moderators) - this will give you a brief insight into your duty and how to do it, but before we can give you your rank you will have to attend a training session. You can ask any superadmin for your training.. You need to attend a weekly meeting on our Teamspeak server (IP is 94.23.19.200), it would also be appreciated if you can click the banner in my signature and add me on steam so that we can manage the meetings more easily. Congratulations on behalf of the administrative team. |
